ANDERSON, Bernice - Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Corporation, Oshawa on Monday June 3, 2002. Bernice Kelsh formerly of Sama Park - Havelock and Cordova Mines in her 85th year. Beloved mother of Judy McLaughlin and her husband Bob of Edmonton, Alberta; Joyce Jessup of Oshawa, Jeanne Hewitt and her husband John of Marmora and the late Joan Bennett. Mother-in-law of Tom Bennett of Whitby. "Nana" will be sadly missed by Kym, Kerry, Sandra, Rob, Shawn, John, Jeff, Kelli, Adam and 15 great-grandchildren. Sister of Geraldine Rose, Daisy Roche, Ruby Robinson, Doris Cole, Joyce Cairnes and the late Evelyn Steenburgh, Reg, Royce, Harold, Harry and Jack. Resting at the BRETT "HAVELOCK" CHAPEL, 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday. Service Friday at 1:00 pm, Reverend Pat Walsh officiating. Interment at a later date in Thornton cemetery , Oshawa. If desired donations may be made (by cheque only) to the Gideons or the Canadian Cancer Society.

CLARK, William Shearer (Bill) - Entered into rest at the Ajax and Pickering Health Centre on Saturday, June 1, 2002 in his 89th year. Has gone to join his beloved wife Rita Theresa DeLeskie (predeceased in 1996). Loving dad of Donald and his wife Carol, Mary Carolyn and her husband Trevor Penfold, Bill and his wife Kristine, Heather Fitzpatrick, and Anastasia Volpe. Cherished grandpa of Scott, Brian, Catherine (Campbell Johnston), Mark, Sean, Jennifer, David, and Derek. Proud great grandpa of Caitlin. Survived by his brother Donald and family. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax (Pickering Village) 905-428-8488 from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Funeral Mass to be held on Friday, June 3, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 1148 Finch Avenue, Pickering. Interment Resurrection cemetery. A reception to follow at the Funeral Home. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Parkinson Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.

GARSIDE, Evelyn Phyllis - passed away on Thursday May 30, 2002. Loving mother of Carolyn and her husband Steve Manuel, Janet and her husband Ken Bell, Susan and her husband David Gardiner, Debbie and her husband Doug Kingsley, Darryl Prouty and his wife Kristal, and Yvonne and her husband Curtis MacLean. Loving sister of Carl Kirkpatrick and his wife Jackie, Dennis Taylor, Jean Kirkpatrick and her husband Yvon Madore. Predeceased by her brother Lyle Kirkpatrick. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Chris, Rob, Jeff, Tyler, Mike, Dan, Lindsay, Matthew, Ryan, Rebecca, Brooke, Gregory, Jordan and Macy and by her great grandson Isaac. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with funeral service in the Chapel on Monday June 3, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment Thornton cemetery. Harry Holmes, loving father of Sheryl Kloke and her husband Bernie, Shawn Holmes and Shane Holmes and his wife Jody Butterly. Proud grandfather of Joshua Kloke, Jessica Hargrove, Sarah Kloke and Callum Holmes. Dear brother of Lorraine Bronishewski and Shirley MacDonald. Harry will be missed, by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 9th at 2:00 P.M. at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway #2, Courtice (905-432 8484). KUNTZ, Emma - passed away peacefully on June 2nd, 2002, at Extendicare, in her 94th year. She will be greatly missed by her children Dieter, Ilse, and their spouses Kathy and Bob; her grandchildren Todd, Krista, Kari, Byron, and their spouses; and her three great grandchildren Annika, Jayden, and Ethan. Many thanks to the staff at Extendicare Oshawa and her many loving friends. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East Oshawa. LUNDERVILLE, Dorothy (Levina) - at William Osler Health Centre, Etobicoke, on Friday, May 31, 2002 - she came into the world on this day and left it on her 84th birthday. Dorothy is survived by her husband Harley (Lundy) of Etobicoke. Loving mother of Barbara Green and her husband Vernon of Wilmot Creek. Missed by grandchildren Susan and her husband Dennis, Raymond, Wayne and his wife Heather, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother-in-law Bill Penny and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy lived life to the fullest and always had a smile. Friends were received at the NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St., S. (just north of 401 at the lights) on Monday, June 3, from 11:00 a.m followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Donations in Dorothy's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by her family and may be made through the funeral home (905)987-3964.

Loving grandmother of Conn and Joel Wilson, of Toronto, Kiel and Bryn Wilson, of California. Predeceased by her son, John Albert Wilson and brother, Gordon Pereman. Survived by twin sister Maxine Hoskin, of Port Perry, and Elsie Innes, of Brooklin. Cremation, followed by a memorial service at a later date. COLLINS, Robert Bradford (Bob) - passed away with dignity and courage after a lengthy illness at Lakeridge Health - Whitby on Thursday, August 1st, 2002. Robert (Bob) Collins in his 78th year. Former owner of Colins Shoe Store in Whitby. Beloved husband of Helen (Ashby). Dear father of Heather Collins, Carol Ann Phillips and her husband Ron, Rob Collins and David Collins and his wife Debbie. Proud Grandfather of Michael Phillips. Bob was a member of the Whitby Rotary Club for over 50 years. He served as President from 1963-64 having the distinction of being a Paul Harris Fellow. Past Master of David T. Campbell Masonic Lodge in 1940. Lifetime member of All Saints Anglican Church, Whitby. Charter member of the Whitby Curling Club, member of Whitby Legion and Whitby Senior Citizens. Predeceased by his parents Russell and Hazel Collins, his brother Ralph and sister Isabel Taft (Brumwell). Bob was an avid gardener and loved to share the fruits of his labours with his friends.
