Bill was the beloved husband of Patricia McLeod and loving father of Tricia and her husband Steven Geremia of Guelph. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Pearl and his brother Daniel. CALLAGHAN, Dorothy Jean - The family of Dorothy Callaghan is sad-dened to announce her passing on September 30, 2002, at the age of 66 years. Her husband John; daughters, Julie and Cathy and son-in-law, Anil Purandare mourn her death. She is survived by her brother, Fred Bagg and numerous nephews; nieces and cousins. She was a committed and generous wife, mother and friend. Her kindness touched many. Her companionship and smile will be forever missed. Her spirit will live on in our minds and hearts. CHAMBERS, Frank Edward - With deep sadness, Frank's family announces his death on October 1, 2002, at the age of 81, at Pinehaven Nursing Home. Frank died with peace and dignity, surrounded by his family, after a courageous struggle following a stroke. Cherished husband of Lois (Jackson) for 48 years, Frank was a devoted spouse and father who instilled a strong sense of family in his children. Treasured father of Patricia (Donald) Bieronski of Kitchener and Deborah (Craig) Kennedy of Toronto; dear and proud grandfather of Andrew and Michael Bieronski and Matthew and Shannon Kennedy. Also survived by his brother Harold (Phyllis) Chambers of Elora, brother-in-law Griffin (Ethel) Jackson of Fergus as well as his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Robert and Ellen Chambers and beloved sister, Jean. A proud Canadian, Frank served his country as a Lancaster pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War. He flew with the 207 Squadron in Bomber Command of the Royal Air Force. At wars end, Frank attended the University of Toronto. Soon after graduation, he re-enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force, retiring in 1970 with the rank of Major (Squadron Leader). Frank spent the next sixteen years at the University of Waterloo as an administrative assistant in the then Faculty of Human Kinetics and Leisure Studies. He particularly enjoyed his association with the students who often sought his counsel. Franks faith was important to him and, until his stroke, he was an active member of St. James Rosemount United Church. He volunteered for many years with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and with one of the breakfast programs for school children. A talented athlete, with a passion for sports, Frank played on several lacrosse and hockey teams. He hung up his hockey skates at the age of 73. BODO, Josef - It is with great sadness, that Josef's death at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus, Thursday, September 19, 2002, is announced. Joe was born July 29, 1910, in Hungary and was the last surviving member of his immediate family, both in Canada and Hungary. He was predeceased by his son, Peter (1997); sister, Margit Bulyovszky (1988) and two brothers and three sisters in Hungary. He and his son Peter immigrated to Canada in 1972 and settled at Simcoe, Ontario with his sister Margit and husband Laszlo Bulyovszky. They later moved to Guelph, Ontario and Joe was employed at St. Joseph's Hospital until his retirement. He was a resident at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Fergus for the past three years. BLOW, Kenneth Sheldon - Suddenly, on September 21, 2002, Kenneth Sheldon Blow passed away. He is predeceased by his parents; his brother, Jack and sister, Doris Graham. Kenneth is survived by his children, Sheldon, Andrew and Christine (nee Aitcheson) and granddaughters, Victoria and Kristen. He is also survived by his brother, Melbourne and sister, Margaret Wood and numerous friends and colleagues. Born June 13, 1924 Kenneth evolved the Acton Machine Shop into Blow Press Limited. His on-going involvement, guidance and over 50 years of leadership in the organization was a source of admiration and inspiration to the customers, employees and suppliers. Kenneth's love for aviation, fine dining and the arts is reflected in the values of his family whom he cherished. A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life at Knox Presbyterian Church in Acton, Ontario on Friday, September 27 (today) at 11 a.m., with a luncheon to follow.
