STEWART, Margaret Anne - After a courageous battle with cancer, at Guelph General Hospital, on Thursday, June 27, 2002, in her 63rd year. Sadly missed by her loving husband, Donald; dear mother of Lisa and her husband Dan Dawson of Guelph and Paul and Tim, both of Fergus. Also loved by her grandchildren, Quest and Kelsey Dawson; her sister, Joanne and her husband Bill Dick and brothers, Jim and his wife Fran Parks and John (Jack) and his wife Marilyn Parks, all of Guelph. Margaret was a dedicated machinist with ITT Fluid Products in Guelph for over 25 years. She enjoyed her retirement over the past seven years, volunteering at the Wellington Terrace Home for Seniors in Elora and with the Canadian Cancer Society. She especially looked forward to spending time with her golfing friends. Friends will be received at the Thomson-Jeffrey Funeral Home, 160 St. David St. N., Fergus, on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the Thomson Chapel on Monday, July 1, 2002 at 11 a.m. with Ray Pearse officiating. WEBBER, Velma Margaret - At Riverbend Place, Cambridge, on Thursday, July 11, 2002, in her 95th year. Velma Webber (nee Cockburn) is the beloved mother of Bryan Webber and his wife Gayle of Cambridge; loved grandmother of Pamela Beacock and her husband Dan of Waterloo, Blair Webber and his wife Jill, Jennifer Ibbotson and Stephanie Ibbotson, all of Cambridge; great-grandmother of Zachery, Jakob and Emiko and special grandma to the Dool family. BLACK, Marion Osborne - Celebrating and Remembering the Life of Marion Osborne Black, born December 4, 1907, in Guelph, Ont., to Violet and Albert Riddolls. She was educated in Guelph, taking a secretarial course at Guelph Collegiate. On August 14, 1928, she married Roy Wesley Black and they lived happily in Guelph for 37 years until Roy's death in 1965. One daughter, Marilyn Anne was born to them. In 1990 Marion moved west to be close to her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. She took up residence in South View Place in Langenburg, Sask. and remained there until she became unable to continue living on her own. She then became a resident of the Langenburg Special Care Home from February 2000 until her passing. Marion's greatest attributes were a deep and unfailing faith in God and a great love and concern for her family, friends and others around her. Marion passed away, peacefully, at the Langenburg Special Care Home, on Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at the age of 94. She leaves to mourn her one sister, Viola (Fred) Hart of Mississauga; one brother, Harold (predeceased by his wife Eileen) Riddolls of Ingersoll; in Saskatchewan, her daughter, Marilyn and son-in-law, Don Wyand of Langenburg; three children, Paula (Barry) Popick of Regina, Patricia Wyand of Regina and Ronald Wyand of Prince Albert; two great-grandchildren, Courtney and Tyler Popick of Regina; also two nephews, Lawrence (Judi) Riddolls of Guelph and Donald (Madalene) Riddolls of Maple Creek, Sask. We will all miss her love, encouragement, understanding and concern, but she leaves us with many happy memories and one outstanding example for living. A committal service will take place at Woodlawn cemetery , in Guelph, on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002 at 2 p.m. A gathering for family and friends will follow at Wall-Custance Funeral Home located at 206 Norfolk St.
