He was pre-deceased by six brothers; Eugène, Donat, Paul, Alonzo, Emilien and Gérard, one sister; Yvonne and one granddaughter; Cindy Champagne. Funeral services was held at the Immaculee Conception parish with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. Interment to follow at the Kapuskasing cemetery.
