DUFRESNE, Pauline, Helene (nee Martin) In loving memory of Pauline Dufresne, 68 years, of Sudbury who passed away Tuesday morning November 19, 2002 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. She was born in Sturgeon Falls and married Jean-Paul Dufresne in 1954 in Sturgeon Falls. After marriage Pauline moved to Sudbury. She was an operator of services with Bell Canada having 35 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Bell Canada Pioneers club. An avid Sudbury Wolves supporter she was her grandson Trevor’s #1 fan. She was an avid reader, accomplished knitter and keen shopper. She spent many happy times at the family trailer in Noelville. Pauline will be remembered as a loving and caring person who inspired others with these values by how she lived her life on a daily basis. She was devoted to her loving family. Beloved wife of Jean-Paul "Johnny" Dufresne of Sudbury. Loving mother of Robert (friend Francoise Veriere) of Orleans, Louise (husband Claude Blanchard), and Lise (friend Bill Lajeunesse) both of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Trevor, Megan and Devon. Sadly missed by her feline friend Tigger. Dear daughter of Victor and Auxilia (Levesque) Martin predeceased. Dear sister of Al Martin predeceased, Adele Harrigan, Terry Moreau (husband Pat) and Denise Bourget (husband Ernie) all of Sudbury and Delia O’Brien (husband John) of Calgary. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Funeral prayers in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Friday, November 22, 2002 at 11:30 am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Heart and Soul Campaign would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2-5 and 7-9 pm Thursday and after 10 am Friday).

DUPUIS, John Amedde In loving memory of John Amedde Dupuis, 78 years, who passed away Monday morning, November 18, 2002 at his home. Beloved son of Amedde and Julia Dupuis both predeceased. MORRISSETTE, Ronald, Paul Ronald Paul Morrissette, of Spanish, passed away at Sudbury Regional Hospital, laurentian Site on Monday, November 18, 2002 in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Marella Morrissette of Spanish. Dear son of the late Nelson & Gladys (Watson) Morrissette. Loving stepfather of Penny Sabourin (friend Ed St. Pierre) of Massey and Bradley Folz (wife Suzanne) of Lasalle, Ontario. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Dawn (husband Richard Koudijs), Shari Sabourin, Angie Folz and Kyle Sabourin. Very dear brother of Tom (wife Al), Jim (wife Marg), Gail (Mrs. Ed Withers) all of Massey, Lawrence "Butch" (wife Sandra), Linda (Mrs. John Kelly), Ted (wife Jeannine) all of Spanish, Virginia (Mrs. Francis King) of Sudbury, Ralph of Elliot Lake and Gerald (wife Beverley) of Sault Ste. Marie. A memorial service will be held at the Four Season Waterfront Complex, Spanish on Saturday, November 23 at 10:30 am with Mr. John Faulkner officiating. Interment of ashes in the Mt. Calvary Community cemetery , Spanish. If so desired, memorial tributes may be made to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation. BOURCIER FUNERAL HOME 869-0550.

MORBIN, Olivia Alexandra (nee Ekholm) In loving memory of Olivia Morbin who died peacefully Saturday, November 16, 2002 at St. Patrick’s Home, 2865 Riverside Drive, Ottawa K1V 8N5, just one week after a family celebration of her upcoming 90th birthday, December 31, 2002. Devoted wife of the late Victor Morbin. Loving mother of Ann-Marie (Jim Townsend), Sault Ste Marie, Jean (Norman Knutson), Kitchener, and Ruth (Jacob Enns) Ottawa. Predeceased by her beloved son George (Ann Morbin), Walden. Fondly remembered by her ten grandchildren Donna, George, Cathy, John, Annmarie, Olivia, Naomi, Heather, Andrew and Heidi. Cherished great-grandmother of thirteen great-grandchildren. MAYNARD, Lucie "Lulu" (nee Barry) Lucie passed away peacefully in her sleep in her 75th year on Friday, November 15, 2002 at St. Joseph’s Health Center, Sudbury, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Harold "Percy" Maynard and mother of Lynn Byron (Sonny), Lyle, Lionel, Leila, Leon, Lila, 25 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. As per our Mother’s wishes her body has been donated to science. Memorial services at a later date. Special thanks to the Neurology nurses for all the wonderful care you gave our Mother and thank you for the love, patience and understanding that you showed our family in our time of need. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory to the Ontario Wildlife Foundation, P.O. Loving father of Karen (husband Murray Wickett) of Monetville, Lanny (husband David Wilson) of Red Deer, Ronald (friend Helen) of Ottawa, and Paul predeceased (wife Marylou of Sarnia). Cherished grandfather of Shannon (husband Keith Loyer), Erin Wickett, Jason St. Pierre, Casey predeceased and Megan Linton; great-grandchildren Andrea, Sarah, Chad and Drake. Dear son of Alfred and Ester Linton, both predeceased. Dear brother of Clifford 9wife June) of hepworth, predeceased by Ernest, Gordon, Lawrence and Vera. born in North Cobalt, he married Bunny in Oshawa in 1943. He started at Linton Motors in Englehart, then Northland Tire in Kirkland Lake, then at Maslack Supply in Sudbury for 27 years, retiring in 1992. He served with the Canadian Army during World War II and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Nipissing Junction Branch. Memorial service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Friday, November 22, 2002 at 11:30 am. Cremation in the Park Lawn Crematorium, Sudbury. Beloved wife of Jean-Henri "Henry" Lanthier predeceased 2000. Loving mother of Laureen Lanthier Quesnel (husband Guy) of Ottawa and John (wife Carolyn) of Wilmington, N.C. Cherished grandmother of Evan and Hannah. Dear sister of Eileen Tobin of Sudbury. Dear sister-in-law of Germaine Swinn (husband Moyle deceased), Ralph Lanthier (wife Jacqueline), Lucie Beauboin (husband Paul deceased), Madeleine Mayer (husband Gil), Marianne Gauthier (husband Reo) and Sherry Tobin all of Sudbury, and Claire Pelletier (husband Larry) of Gatineau. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Mary Tobin, sisters Kathleen Condratto and Anastasia, and brothers Edward and Francis. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her nephew Bobby Condratto and his family whose extraordinary care and patience made Gen’s last years very enjoyable and possible. Bob was like a son to her, and to her sister Eileen who was her best friend and always there for her. "Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep. GULLIVER, Sharon Lee Sharon
GULLIVER, Sharon Lee Sharon Gulliver died peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2002 with her husband by her side at North Bay General Hospital. Sharon (Guitard) was the beloved wife of John Gulliver of Powassan. She was the loving mother of Michael Gulliver (Janet) of Pembroke, Donna Turgeon (Michael) of Corbeil and Tara Aultman (Brian) of Powassan; and grandmother of Caitlin, Kelsey, Michaela, Nicholas, Tayler, Jordan and Marcus. She was the dear daughter of Leo Guitard of North Bay and the late Leona (Frechette), and sister of Marilyn Potvin (Jack), Donald Guitard (Rachel) and David Guitard (Sandy) all of North Bay. Family and friends are invited to share in the loss and celebrate the life of Sharon at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME in Powassan (705-724-2024) on Friday, December 27, 2002 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm with a special service of tributes and prayers in the funeral home at 8:30 pm. The family will also receive visitors at St. Joseph’s Church in Powassan on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 am with Father Paul Hickey celebrating Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in the church. Spring interment St. Joseph’s cemetery. If desired, donations may be made in Sharon’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.

JONES, Kathleen (Mckay) passed away on January 4, 2003 at Caressant Care, Fergus at age 81. Predeceased by her husband Hector (1972). Loving mother of Doreen of Coniston (husband Keith), Leonard of Acton (wife Karla), William of Vancouver, Mark of Georgetown (wife Louise), and Darlene of Amherstview (husband Thomas). Predeceased by her parents Bruno Owen McKay and Isabelle Chenette, sisters Dorothy, Lila, Violet, Isabelle and twin sister Irene; brothers Tommy, Mickey and Lawrence. Survived by sister Maudie Ferguson of Sardis, B.C. and brother Roy McKay (wife Eileen) of South porcupine. Loving grandmother of Valerie, Clifford, Sandra, Sopie, Deborah, Melanie, Billy, Kim, Darryl, Cathy, Tawnya, Tristan and Tory. Loving great-grandmother of Matthew, Tyler, Jessica, Thomas and Tiernan. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. Mass of Christian memorial will be at St. Joseph’s Parish, Acton, at 12 noon Friday January 10, 2003.
