Peacefully at the Deep River District Hospital Tuesday, June 6, 2000.
Beloved husband of Karen, predeceased by first wife, Isobel. Loving father of Cathy (Dave) Croft, Ted (Susan) and Gesse Lindsay and stepsons Tim and Jeff (Sharon) Kleinbeck. Grandfather to Dave, Carrie, Rob Croft, Meg, Erin and James Lindsay and Jennifer, Erin and Alyssa Kleinbeck.
Born in Humberstone (now part of Port Colborne) Ontario. He moved to Deep River in 1954 where he worked for Atomic Energy (AECL) until his retirement. Alan will be remembered for his long time involvement with the Deep River Little League, Glider and Lawn Bowling Clubs.
A memorial service will be held, Thursday, June 15 at 11:00 A.M. at the Deep River Community Church. Luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Deep River Lawn Bowling Club.

The family announces with sorrow her death, May 18th, 2000 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital (St. Joseph's Health Centre), at the age of 69 years. She lived for the last 25 years in Dowling. Dear daughter of Hubert and Katie Burnette both predeceased of Arnprior. Wife of the late Denis Jones. Loving mother of Kathryn (Mrs. Rodney Nelson) of Richmond Hill and Denis (wife Kim) of Kitchener. Dear sister of Doris Johnson (husband Bill, predeceased) of Carleton Place. Predeceased by her brothers Desmond (wife Reta) of Almonte, Donald Brunette (wife Sandy) of Kingston. Lovingly remembered by her partner Bob Feltham of Dowling. Cherished grandmother of Julie-Ann, Keri-Lynn, Curtis, Shane, Taylor, Landon and Keaton. Sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and many friends. Mrs. Jones was an associate member of the Onaping Falls Legion Branch 503, Onaping. Geraldine loved to travel especially to the Ottawa area to visit with family and friends. The family received friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, CHELMSFORD, Sunday, May 21st, 2000, from 2-4pm and 7-9:30pm. Mass of Christian burial was held Monday, May 22nd, 2000, at 1:30pm, in St. Stevens Church, Dowling. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. In honoring "Gerri's" last wishes, the final committal will be held, Saturday, July 8th, 2000, at 11:00am in the Deep River cemetery , Deep River, Ontario. All relatives and friends of Gerri are invited to attend this last celebration of her life.

Formerly of Deep River in St. Catharines on June 27, 2000, in his 88 year. Survived by wife, Mildred son Ken and family. Predeceased by daughter Gwenneth. Memorial service was held June 29, 2000 in St. Catharines.
Earle Leslie CASSELMAN
Funeral Service was conducted at St. Andrews Church, Chalk River, on Saturday, June 10th, 2000 at 1 P.M. for the late Earle Leslie Casselman. Earle was in his 92nd year. He is survived by his beloved wife the former Marion MacDonald were married for over 62 years, his dear son Byron and his wife Delores of Mattawa. Dearly missed by his two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his father and mother; Mahlon Casselman and the former May Alice Hunter. Earle was employed with the Bank of Montreal for over 47 years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 53 years. Friends and relatives called at the Church on Friday. Funeral service was conducted on Saturday at 1 P.M. with the Reverend Cory Cuthbert officiating. Interment took place in the family plot of the Forestview cemetery , Chalk River. Pallbearers were: Kevin Waito, John Barrington, Walter Dufoe, Charles Dunham, Perry Delguidice and Tom Tennant. Earle was an active member of his community and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. The family of the late Earle Casselman, would like to extend their heart-felt thank you to their dear fiends in and around the Chalk River area. Your kindness will always be remembered.
