Ashkewe Percy Ernest Joseph
At home, in Cape Croker on Wednesday, October 9, 2002. Percy Ashkewe in his 71st year. Dear brother of Bessie King of Toronto and Ella Waukey of Cape Croker. Predeceased by his parents Bert and Ida (Waubzee); sisters Beatrice, Laura, Nellie and Hilda; and brothers Nelson and Benjamin. Percy will be missed by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the George Funeral Home, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted at the Cape Croker United Church on Saturday, October 12th at 11:00 AM with Rev. Maggie McLeod officiating. Interment Little Port Elgin cemetery , Cape Croker.

Blais Royal Roy Joseph
Sadly we announce the passing of Royal (Roy) Blais, on Thursday November 7, 2002 at the Owen Sound Hospital. Age 60, loving husband of Arlene Blais for 40 years.Dear brother of Delia Johnsen of Ridgeway, Simone Blais of California, Madeleine Benner of Ridgeway, Jean-Paul Blais of Sudbury. Brother in law to Sam Johnsen. Uncle to Clifford Johnsen and his wife Nancy, Denis Johnsen and his wife Tami, Arnold Johnsen and his wife Susan, Rosanne Onciul and her husband Mike, Joanne Hall and her husband Adrian, Louise Thomson and her husband Matthew, Carmen Laplante, Mike Blais and his wife Carole, Lee-Ann Blais-Zackiewicz and her husband Richard. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Royal will be remembered for his love for family, life and friendship. His smile and laughter will never be forgotten. The family will receive friends at the Davidson Chapel, 71 Main Street, Lions Head on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9;00 PM. Thence to the Williams Funeral Home, 722 Ridge Road North, Ridgeway for visitaiton on Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place at St. George's Roman Catholic Church ,Crystal Beach on Monday November 11th at 12:00PM. Interment Ridgeway cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetis Association or the Canadian Liver Foundation or the Grey Bruce Health Services MRI Fund would be appreciated by the family.

BOLEY Albert 'Ab'
Suddenly at home on Saturday, November 23rd, 2002. Ab Boley of Lion's Head is his 67th year. Loving husband and best friend of Kathryn Orr. Father of Kristine Corley of Listowel, Deborah Rose and her husband Brent of Mount Forest and Bryan and his wife Sueanne of Mount Forest. Grandfather of Ashley, Jessica & Hillary Corley, Tyler & Connor Rose and Ben & Somer Boley. Dear son-in-law of William & Doreen Orr of Arthur; brother-in-law of Ken & Christine Orr of Mount Forest and uncle of Sherry, Allan, & Andrew Orr. A memorial service will be held at the St. Mark's Catholic/Central United Church in Lion's Head on Wednesday, November 27 at 11:00 AM. Father Stephen LaCroix officiating. Peacefully at the Summit Place Nursing Home, Owen Sound, on Friday September 6, 2002. Molly (Scott) Brinkman of Lions Head in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Clayton Brinkman. Dear mother of Joye Shaw and her husband Larry of Port Elgin; Lynn and his wife Diane of Owen Sound and Gail and his wife Norma of Lions Head.Cherished grandmother of Andrea (Ty) Kombel of Cambridge; Erin Shaw of Mississauga; Kristen Shaw of Port Elgin; Paul (Shannon) Brinkman of Fergus; Scott (Kim) Brinkman of Owen Sound; Charlotte (Jim) Martindale of Lions Head; Cheryl (Nick) Liverance of Stokes Bay and Shaun Brinkman of Lions Head. Also survived by seven great grandchldren. Predeceased by two sisters Peggy Portwood and Alberta Scott and three brothers Clayton Scott, Gerald Scott and Gerry Scott. The family will receive friends at the Davidson Chapel, 71 Main Street, Lions Head on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday September 10th at 1:30 PM with Mr. Alma Leeder officiating. Interment Eastnor cemetery , Lions Head. Donations to Hopkinson Memorial Scholarship Fund (Rotary Club) or the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.

Sister of Glenda Vogle of Sault Ste Marie; Glen Pedoniquott, Linda McMaster, Manley Jones, Grace Jones, Paul Jones, Vivian Barkley, Joyce Jones all of Cape Croker and Jennifer Wood of Winnpeg. Predeceased by one son Tracey Jones, one sister Carol and one brother Frances. The family will receive friends at the Maadookii Centre, Cape Croker on Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00PM and Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM . Brother of Jean Brough of Wiarton. Predeceased by two brothers George, Cecil and three sisters Violet Hodgins, Lillian Davidson and Agnes Brough. Also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Loved husband and best friend of Helen (Hahn) Greig. Devoted father of Shelley deBok and her husband Tony of Owen Sound; Kathryn and her friend Jim Mackey of Owen Sound and Chuck of Mission, B.C. Cherished poppa of Dana, Justin, Jade and Dalton deBok and Spencer, Kaitlyn and Lily Greig. Survived by his sister Beatrice Pruder of Purple Valley and sister-in-law Leona Greig of Owen Sound. Dear son-in-law of Laura Hahn of Wiarton and brother-in-law of Norm and Marg Hahn of New Hamburg; Barry and Brenda Gilbert of Wiarton and Alice Hahn and her friend Bill Thompson of Jacksons Cove. Predeceased by one daughter Susan in infancy, his parents Charles and Carrie Greig, brothers Grenville, Vernon, Rae, Brother-in-law Don Pruder and sister-in-law Jackie Greig. Peacefully at the Owen Sound Hospital on Saturday October 5, 2002. Reta (Mole) Ottewell of Owen Sound and formerly of Wiarton in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the Late Elgin Ottewell. Dear mother of Faye Ottewell (J.J.) of Wallkerton and Harvey Ottewell (Carol Schefter) of Wiarton. Also survived by ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and special friend Sharon Ottewell. Sister of Charlie (Lenora) Mole of Wiarton; Ralph (Florence) Mole of R.R.# 3 Sauble Beach; Roberta Greig of Hepworth; Uriel Gates of Owen Sound; Joan (Ted) Dickenson of Allenford and Sandra Mole of Shallow Lake. Predeceased by three sons Wayne, Leonard, Bower, three sisters Lillian Buckton, Evelyn Lisk, Wilda Moore and two brothers Frank Mole and Jim Mole. Dear father of Melvin and his wife Ruth of Orangeville; Fern Baker and her husband Ray of Arthur; Helen McCormick and her husband Hugh of Shallow Lake; Betty Dean and her husband Stephen; Ida Munn and her husband Gene; Dennis and his wife Norma; Dale; Darlene Belrose and her husband Lloyd all of Tobermory. Remembered with love by thirteen grandchildren. Predeceased by two sons James and Bruce, one brother Almer and two sisters Daisy and Catherine. Bill was a Veteran of W.W.ll in the First Hussar Regiment, member of the Wiarton Rotary Club, Past Master of the Masonic Lodge, and member of the Wiarton Legion. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Newman) Stewart (2001). Loving father of Cameron and his wife Tannis of London; John and his wife Donna; Pete and his wife Donna all of Oliphant; and Walt and his wife Debbie of Nakina. Cherished grandfather of Melissa of London; Lucas of London, England; Danielle of Sarnia; Ryan of Wiarton ; Jason of Calgary and Clark, Emily and Hayden all of Oliphant. Predeceased by one sister Nora Kolpin and one brother John Stewart.
