McNeil Camden Kenneth
On September 10th, 2004. Camden Kenneth was born and sadly taken from us to live as God's newest little angel. He will live in our hearts forever. He is the son of Cory McNeil and Kalyn Lavigne. Sharing in our sorrow are Camden's grandparents Bruce and Rosemarie McNeil of Wiarton, Leo and Marion Lavigne of Marathon; great grandparents Ken and Gwen Bridge of Miller Lake, Laura McNeil of Wiarton, Ada Scott of Bathurst N.B., Herman and Annie Lavigne of Cokeshaw N.B.; aunts Allisa McNeil of Wiarton, Kipani and David Good of Bathurst N.B. and cousin Arianna Good.Cremation has taken place. A private family service has taken place at Oxenden cemetery. Donations to the Childrens Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the George Funeral Home, Wiarton.

Miladinov Margaret Greta French
At the Wiarton Hospital on Friday August 20, 2004. Greta Miladinov of Wiarton in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the Late Bill Dimoff and the Late Alex Miladinov. Beloved mother of Bill and his wife Shirley of Wiarton. Sister of Betty of Scotland. Also survived by nine grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. Predeceased by one son Stanley. A funeral service will be conducted at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 441 Brown Street, Wiarton on Tuesday August 24th at 2:00 PM with Pastor Brad Mittleholtz officiating. Visitation one hour prior to t he time of service. Interment Memorial Gardens cemetery , Toronto. Arrangements entrusted to the George Funeral Home, Wiarton. Donations to the Wiarton Hospital or St. Peter's Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family.

Morrow Christena Margaret Christie
Peacefully at the Hanover Care Centre, Hanover on Tuesday October 19, 2004. Christie (Nixon) Morrow of Lion's Head in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the Late William (Bill) Morrow. Dear mother of May Walpole and her husband Wray of Chesley, Margaret Gaunt and her husband Ken of Hanover and Dave and his wife Janet of Lion's Head. Special grandmother of nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Survived by one sister Winnie Nixon of Owen Sound, one brother Norman (Bernice) Nixon of Ferndale and two sisters in law Ila Nixon of Wiarton and Doris Nixon of Guelph. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends at the Davidson Chapel, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Friday October 22nd at 11:00 am with Rev. Jawn Kolohon officiating. Interment Eastnor cemetery , Lion's Head. Donations to the Lion's Head Hospital, Christ Church Anglican or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Nightingale Margaret Patricia
At the Golden Dawn Nursing Home, Lion's Head on Thursday October 7, 2004. Pat (Herd) Nightingale was called home after a courageous battle with Alzheimers disease. Beloved wife of Jack. Dear mother of Jayne (Nick) Paradiso of Brampton; Glen (Debbie) of Vancouver and Lynda (Robert) Michelucci of Guelph. Special grandmother of Jessica (Steve) Hallwood, Michael, Julie (Andrew) Turnbull, David, Laura, Robert, Jason, Lisa and one great grandchild Gioia Hallwood. Pat also leaves a brother Bud (Edie) Herd. Pat was active in the Women's Auxiliary and the choir at Trinity Anglican Church, Wiarton and also in the Women's Institute, Adamsville. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Pat's life will be held on Saturday October 16th at 2:00 pm from Christ Church Anglican, Lion's Head with Rev. Jawn Kolohon officiating. Donations to the Alzheimers Society or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. We know that the heavenly choir has been augmented with Pat's singing. Special thanks to the staff, doctors and volunteers at the Golden Dawn Seniors Home in Lion's Head for the care, support and understanding. Arrangements entrusted to the George Funeral Home, Wiarton.

Peacefully at Lenark Heights Long Term Care Centre, Kitchener on Friday February 25, 2005. Edith Paterson of Kitchener and formerly of Wiarton in her 93rd year. Daughter of the late Ewart and Lillie (Newman) Paterson. Dear sister of Newman and his wife Beverley Paterson of Stratford. At Edith's request, cremation has taken place. Spring interment of cremated remains in the Paterson family plot, Bayview cemetery , Wiarton. Donations to the Wiarton Hospital would be appreciated and may be made through the George Funeral Home, Wiarton. (519) 534-0240.

King Lennox Richard Len
Peacefully at the Wiarton Hospital on Saturday September 18, 2004 with his family by his side. Len King of Purple Valley in his 74th year. Son of the Late Eva (Mercer) and John King. Dear brother of Art and his wife Margaret of Sauble Falls. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three sisters Eleanor MacLean, Evelyn Gardiner, Louise Schultz and two brothers George and John. The family will receive friends at the George Funeral Home, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday September 22nd at 2:00 pm with Rev. David Leggatt officiating. Interment Colpoy's Bay cemetery. Donations to Friends of Gateway or the Wiarton Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

Gilbert Ella Eileen
Peacefully at the Wiarton Hospital on Tuesday February 1, 2005. Ella (Peer) Gilbert of Mar in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the Late Jack Gilbert. Dear mother of Eileen Munro and her husband Don of New Market, Norm of Purple Valley and Vera Osborne and her husband Peter of Mar. Cherished grandmother of four grandchildren John, Heather (Jim) Racard, Kelly Zerback and her fiance Rob Gordon, Krista Zerback and two great grandchildren Chantel and Jessica. Sister in law of Margaret Peer of Wiarton. Predeceased by two brothers Roy Peer and Norman Peer. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Peacefully at the Owen Sound Hospital on her 81st birthday Monday February 28, 2005. Delia Elliott of Cape Croker. Dear mother of six children and grandmother of several grandchildren. Dear sister of Loretta Grace Bourget (LaValley). Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends at the Maadookii Centre Cape Croker on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Suddenly at the Wiarton Hospital on Friday January 14, 2005. Jean (Bartley) Durance of Howdenvale and Wiarton in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the Late Allan Durance. Dear mother of Bob and his wife Joyce of Stittsville, Bruce and his wife Shirley of Alvinston, Ross and his wife Karen of Sarnia and Carl and his wife Thea of Wiarton. Cherished grandmother of five grandchildren Andrew (Jennifer) Durance, David (Catherine) Durance, Mark Durance, Christopher Durance all of Ottawa, Lee-ah Durance of Alvinston and great grandmother of Hanna and Owen Durance of Ottawa. Also survived by sisters in law Pat Durance, Marion Durance, Ruth Durance and brother in law Eric (Renate) Durance. Predeceased by five sisters Sylvia Bartley, Marguerite Bartley, Dicey Johnston, Laurier Bartley, Edith Weir and one brother Otto Bartley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the George Funeral Home, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Thence to the Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 18th at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior to the time of service. Interment Wyoming cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stoke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Davidson Annie May
Peacefully after a short illness at the Lee Manor Nursing Home, Owen Sound on Monday January 10, 2005. Annie Davidson Aunt and Grand Lady of Lake Charles in her 99th year. Predeceased by her parents Mary (Atkey) and Thomas Davidson, and by her six brothers Arthur, Wilfred, Norval, Earl, Stewart and Kenneth. Lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Annie will be remembered for her love of family and friends, devotion to helping others and her infectious laughter. A funeral service for Annie Davidson will be held at the George Funeral Home, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Thursday January 13th at 10:00 am with Lieutenant R. Mary Millar officiating. Visitation one hour prior to the time of service. Spring Interment Oxenden cemetery. Donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Buckland Lloyd Edward George
Peacefully at the Summit Place Nursing Home, Owen Sound on Sunday January 2, 2005. Lloyd Buckland of Wiarton in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Pearl (Thompson) Buckland. Much loved father of Helen (Brian) Manery of Wiarton; Shirley Woods of St. Mary's; Sharon (Gordon Jr) Smith of Wiarton; Sheila (Stanley) McNeil of Wiarton and Wayne (Susan) Buckland of St. Catherines. Cherished grandpa to Wendy and Teresa Woods, Christa Boone, Scott Manery, Michael Smith, Katie Buckland and great grandpa to Carter and Madelyn Boone, Keith and Aidan Manery and Jesse McCoy. Brother of Melvin (Kath) Buckland of Midland and brother in law of Gladys Buckland of London. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Sarah (Minnie) Buckland, bother Clarence and son in law Kenneth Woods. Lloyd was a World War II Veteran, a Gunner in the 5th Medium Artillery and member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #208 . Lloyd enlisted in 1941, landing in Sicily and fought at Casino, Po Valley, from Florence, Italy to Marseilles, France from there to Belgium and Holland. Later he settled with his wife on a farm in Keppel Township. The family will receive friends at the George Funeral Home, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday January 5th at 2:00 pm with Rev. David Leggatt officiating. Spring Interment Bayview cemetery , Wiarton. Donations to the Wiarton Hospital, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #208 or the Meeting Place would be appreciated by the family. Royal Canadian Legion Branch #208 will hold a memorial service at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 6:45 pm.

Bernier Gladys Patricia
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Sunday January 23, 2005. Gladys (Hirschfeld) Bernier of Tobermory in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of Roland Bernier. Dear mother of Roland and his wife Sandy of Whitby, Belinda Bradley and her husband Wayne of Oshawa, Kathy Bernier of New Castle, Judy Facey and her husband Nick of Oshawa and Anna Loveman and her husband John of Port Hope. Cherished grandmother of thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also survived by two brothers and eight sisters. Predeceased by one son Gary and one brother. The family will receive friends at the George Funeral Home, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday January 27th at 11:00 am with Father Steve Lacroix officiating. Cremation to follow. Spring Interment of cremated remains Dunk's Bay cemetery , Tobermory. Donations to the Tobermory Clinic or the Lion's Head Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully at the Lion's Head Hospital on Wednesday March 2, 2005. Jan Carlsson of Pike Bay in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Marian (Pegg) Carlsson. Cherished father of Sonja Carlsson and Jane Carlsson Mann and her husband Norman. Loving grandfather of Jonathan Mann. Dearly missed by his brothers Eric and his wife Teo and family of Sweden, Lars of Toronto and nieces Janette and Kristine and their families. Jan will be lovingly remembered by many relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service and celebration of Jan's life will be held at the Pike Bay United Church, West Road on Saturday March 5th at 2:00 pm with Rev. Audrey Brown officiating.
