RUNDLE, Thomas George (Tom) 1966-2001 Formerly of Villa Nova recently of Bios de Fillion, P.Q. passed away February 9, 2001 at Cite de la Sante de Laval after a brave fight with cancer at the age of 34. Loving husband of Sophie Leduc, father of Daly Rose, son of Bob Rundle and Velma Bramhill, Villa Nova, Pat Rundle and Gerald Bevan, Waterford, twin brother of Michelle (Deron) Rein, Maple Ridge, B.C. and brother of Heather (Bernard) Stevenson, uncle of Candice and Philip Stevenson all of Port Sydney, Ont. Nephew of John and Kay Rundle, Port Dover, Paddy and Dorothy Rundle, Palmerston, Ont., Pat and Earl Demmerling, Listowel, Ont. and Ardle Rundle, Guelph, Ont. He will also be greatly missed by his many cousins, friends, co-workers and inlaws. He was predeceased by an uncle Bill Rundle. Tom attended Bloomsburg Public School, Waterford District High School and Palmerston District High School and Graduated from Centennial College as an aircraft mechanic. He began work for Nation Air and ended up working for Air Transat at Mirabel Airport. A day of visitation was held Feb. 14 at the Guay Funeral Home in Rosemere, P.Q. followed by cremation. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made in Tom's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Russell, Alexander - (formerly of Delhi and Windham Centre) passed away at the Norfolk general Hospital, Simcoe on Saturday, February 17, 2001 in his 88th year. Former Member of Delhi Friendship Centre. Beloved son of late James Russell and late Janet McDonald. Predeceased by 1 infant sister and 1 sister in Scotland. Alex will be greatly missed by many. Friends may call for visitation at the murphy funeral home, Delhi, on Monday, February 19, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Colvin of Delhi United Church officiating. Interment Delhi cemetery. Donations to the Charity of One's Choice will be gratefully acknowledged.

Szobota, Margaret - (formerly of Adams Ave.) passed away at the Delhi Nursing Home on Saturday, February 17, 2001 in her 98th year. Member of St. John Brebeuf Catholic Women's League and Delhi District Hungarian House. Former Margaret Szolnocsan. Beloved wife of late Andrew Szobota (1970). Dear mother of late Louis Szobota (1995). Dear mother-in-law of Helen Szobota, Delhi. Loving grandmother of Edward Szobota (and wife Marla), Brampton and Louis Szobota Jr. (and wife Chris), Delhi. Dear great-grandmother of Derek, Deanna, Luke, David and Paul, step great-grandmother of Joe, Don, Cindy, Monique, Betsy and Nicole and 3 step great-great-grandchildren. Also several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 3 brothers: Andrew Szolnocsan (1915), Frank Szolnocsan (1971) and John Szolnocsan (1973) and sister-in-law Rose Szolnocsan (1991). Funeral Mass to be held at St. George's Greek Catholic Church, Courtland on Wednesday at 10 a.m. said by Rev. Fr. Stephen Bodnar. Interment Delhi cemetery. Friends may call at the murphy funeral home, Delhi on Tuesday (from 2-4 and 7-9) and Prayers will be said on Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

Casselton, James Whitney. passed away at home in Bewdley on Friday March 30, 2001. Whit Casselton, member of Hope Lodge #114, A.F. & A.M. and R.C.L. Br. 577, Bewdley, beloved husband of Dorothy Staib. Loving father of Donna (Bob Trew), Brenda (Tony Badder), Beth Mercer (Paul), Jim Casselton (Joan) and the late Debbie Cann. Brother of Patrick Casselton (Bonnie), of Simcoe, Julian Casselton (Cherie) of Sarnia, Eileen Smith (Wesley) of Florida and the late Ernie, Russell and Raymond Casselton. Survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also remembered by sister-in-laws Dorothy and Clara Casselton. Friends will be received at the Allison funeral home, 103 Mill Street, North, Port Hope, Wednesday from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service at 2 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made by cheque to the charity of ones choice.

DAVIS, Robert (Bob) passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 5, 2001 at the Norfolk General Hospital. Bob Davis of Oak St., Simcoe formerly of Etobicoke in his 72nd year. Longtime employee of Wood Gundy. Beloved husband of Doris for 48 years. Loving father to Laura and her husband Jay Smith of Etobicoke, Michael of Simcoe and Sandra VanEysden of Oshawa. Cherished grandad to Colin, Andrew, Robert and Dawn. Bob was an avid Barbershopper for over 40 years. He will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday, April 9 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the Ferris Funeral Home, 214 Norfolk St. S., Simcoe (519) 426-1314 where a Memorial Service for Bob will follow at 1:00 p.m. The Reverend Bryan Robertson officiating. Charter member of the Delhi District Hungarian Home & Ladies Society, St. John Brebeuf Catholic Women's League, St. Ladislaus Ladies Auxiliary. Former Teresia Bakos. Beloved wife of late Paul Gomori Sr. (1975) and late Michael Fodor (1990). Dear mother of Louis Gomori (wife Rose), R.R. 1, Delhi; Helen Abare (husband Steve), RR 1, Norwich; Grace Kovacs, RR2, Delhi; John Gomori (wife Margaret), Delhi and late Paul Gomori Jr. (1954). Loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Dear half-sister of Peter Goblos and George Goblos. Also several nieces and nephews all of Yugoslavia. Predeceased by 1 son-in-law: George Kovacs (2000); 1 brother: Kalman Bakos; 3 sisters: Frances Bakai, Victoria Sarnyai and Kathaleen Szugyi and 1 half-brother: Joseph Goblos. Evelyn is a former organist and longtime member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Hagersville. The Family will receive friends at the Hyde & Mott Chapel, r.h.b. anderson funeral homes ltd. Kisielewski, Sophie: At the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, april 1, 2001 with her family by her side, of RR#3 Scotland, in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Walter. Dear mother of Betty Pajor (Joe), Wilsonville; Leonard (Diane), Windham Centre; Edward (Catherine) & Irene Crawford (Bill), all of RR#1 Scotland. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Laurie Vanderlee (Theo), Christopher Pajor (Shona), Greg Pajor (susan), Frank, Mark, and Michael Crawford, Stephen, Amanda, Andrew and Alexandra Kisielewski and great grandchildren Adrienne, Clark, and Kaitlyn Vanderlee, Sholaine, and Brett Pajor. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Frances Rzeszutek, Sophie and Walter were married for 57 years. Langohr - Mr. Donald Langohr of Main St., Delhi passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 27, 2001 in his 68th year. Associate member of Royal Canadian Legion, Hagersville Branch #164 and former member of Delhi Branch #124. Beloved son of late Harvey Kenneth Langohr (1974) and late Rita Elizabeth Foster (1979). Dear brother of Helen Bilger, Tillsonburg and Gladys Wencel of Chatham. Dear brother-in-law of Geraldine Langohr, Port Stanley and Mildred Shearer of Aylmer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 3 brothers: Kenneth Langohr (2000), Foster Langohr (1985), Acel Langohr (1976) and brother-in-laws Louis Bilger, Joseph Wencel and sister-in-law Leone Langohr. As per Donald's wishes cremation has taken place with a Private family graveside service to be held at St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery , Rhineland on Saturday April 7, 2001. Loncke - Mrs. Laura Loncke formerly of LaSalette, passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Friday, March 30, 2001 in her 77th year. She was a former member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Women's League. Former Laura Bonne. Beloved wife of Late Alphonse C. Loncke (1985). Loving mother of Mrs. Karen Bailey and Mrs. Agnes Jacobs. Dear mother-in-law of Mr. Joe Bailey and Mr. Paul Jacobs. Dear sister of twin-sister Elsie (Loncke) Aelterman and the Late Lea Mayo (1986). Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
