Gedye - Ronald William Lewis: passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital on Friday, July 27, 2001. Mr. Ronald Gedye of Simcoe in his 77th year. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor Gedye (nee: Pullen). He is survived by his son; Jim Gedye and his wife Johanna of Toronto, brother; Bob Gedye and his wife Jean of Hagersville, and sister-in-law; Berneice Gedye of St. Catherines. HOLTERMAN, E. Ruth I. (Edworthy): At Golden Pond Retirement Lodge, Waterford on Tuesday, July 31, 2001, has gone to be with her husband Fred. She leaves wonderful, loving memories for her children Mark and his wife Jennifer, Hamilton, as well as her daughter Julia and her husband Mark Taylor, Leamington and her two grandchildren James and Janna Lees Holterman. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her brothers Aubrey and his wife Winnifred, Edmonton; Malcolm and his wife Margaret, Kelowna; and sister Beth Hoover, Dundas; as well as her sisters-in-law Jean McCallen, Waterford; Evelyn Draper, Campbellville and Marion and her husband William Frank, London, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her younger brother David Edworthy. Also left behind are many beloved and valued friends. Ruth enjoyed teaching for over twenty years, she worshiped at Waterford United Church as well as at Knox Church, Port Carling. MACDONALD - Peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener Robert Charles John (Bob) MacDonald formerly of Simcoe in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Renate. CAMPBELL, Ernest William (Bill) - E. William (Bill) Campbell of Simcoe formerly of Burlington passed away at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on December 18, 2001 in his 83rd year. Bill was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in 1919 and raised by friends in Wilkie, Saskatchewan until the age of 21. He left home for Ontario in 1940 where he met Doris Pope of Vittoria and they were married in 1947. They had three children, son Navarre who predeceased in 1970 and two daughters Jill Comrie and husband Brian of Calgary and Shelley Cousineau and husband Ken of Simcoe. He was the dear grandfather to Erin Reidy, Andrea and Christine Comrie, Jessica and Alyssa Cousineau. Brother to Allan McMillan and wife Rosemary of Cincinnati. Bill was a stationary engineer at Norfolk General Hospital and then Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington retiring in 1984.
