ROBERTSON, Edith - passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Victoria Hospital, South Street Campus of the London Health Science Centre on Wednesday, February 5, 2003. Mrs. Edith Robertson (nee Koehler) of Simcoe in her 61st year. Beloved, devoted wife and best friend of Alex for over 40 years. Loving mother and best friend to Susan of Hamilton and Kathryn of Toronto. Cherished Nana to Riannon. Dear sister to Diane Greiling and her husband Helmut of Fergus. Edith was a Registered Nurse with the Haldimand-Norfolk Regional Health Department for 25 years. She will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, February 7 from 7-9 p.m. at the FERRIS FUNERAL HOME, 214 Norfolk St. S., Simcoe where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 1 p.m. Reverend Bruce Coombe officiating. Private family interment at Memorial Gardens, Breslau, Ontario, Monday, February 10. Those wishing may donate in Edith's memory to the Who-Did-It Club or the Canadian Cancer Society.

ROSS, Elizabeth Patricia, at her home in Port Dover on Monday, February 3, 2003 in her 69th year. Predeceased by her husband Robert "Bob" Ross. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Vance and Dianne Mummery of Simcoe, John & Heather Mummery of Delhi, Diane and Brian Dougherty, Dorothea and Bob Dougherty and Leola and Ed LaForme all of Port Dover. Dear sister of Francis McFall, Elizabeth and Jim Runyan and Marianne and Raul Rio. Predeceased by a brother Thomas McFall. Dearly loved Grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Ross is at the THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave., Port Dover (583-1530) for visitation on Wednesday (today) 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, February 6, 2003 at 3:30 p.m. Rev. Dear grandfather to Teresa Barton (Robert), David Rutherford (Michelle), Amy Serpa (John), Lisa Casino (J.P.) and great grandfather to Calvin and Dameon Rutherford and Chelsea Barton. Dear brother-in-law to May Oakes and uncle to Karen Oakes. Son of the late Melbourne Hartley Rutherford and Ethel Jane Neilson. Predeceased by a granddaughter Melissa (1979), brothers Howard, Harold and Douglas Rutherford and sisters Maida Osborne and Verna Boughner. Jim was a long time farmer in Walsh area. SCHEEL, Terry Scott - The family sadly announces the death of Terry Scott Scheel in Paris, on Sunday, February 2, 2003, dear father of Tess; much loved fiance of Susan Featherston; loved son of the late Frederick Fritz Scheel and the late Margaret May Scheel; loved brother of Mark and his wife Marilyn, Brantford and Randy and his wife Brenda, Paris; also missed by nephews Bradley and Jimmy and by uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends and "Kizaroo". Much loved wife of 35 years of ("Larry") Hillaere Van Tyghem of Langton. Loved mother and mother-in-law of: Michael Van Tyghem and his wife Cari, of R.R. 1 Langton and Nancy Van Tyghem and Jody Thompson, of R.R. 3 Scotland. Dear sister and sister-in-law of: Roger Huys and his wife Rita, of Burford; Lorretta and her husband Tony Vandevyvere of Eden. Survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Cherished grandmother of Tammy Francis (Bruce Nitschkie) of Brantford, Mark Francis (Sheri Evans) of Simcoe and Steven Wardell of Simcoe. Great grandmother to Casandra and Alexander Nitschkie of Brantford. Survived by brother Bill (Mary) Jenner of Simcoe, sister-in-law Eileen Marshall of Simcoe, sister-in-law Aileen Buck of Beamsville and brother in-law Tom (Mary Jean) Buck of Wainfleet. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and dearest friend of Doris Stewart of Paris, Ont. Predeceased by her parents William and Elizabeth Jenner of Paris and brothers Ted (RHLI), WWII from Paris and Leonard from British Columbia and sister Doris of Paris. Loving sister of Viola Dickson of Simcoe, Thelma Koluk of Simcoe, Mable (Walter) Hudson of Simcoe, Kenneth Seymour of Simcoe and Elaine Goris of Simcoe. Also missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents William and Carrie Seymour. Brothers William Seymour and Stanley Seymour; sisters Ilene Lamoury, Violet Pierce and Baby June and Martha. Grandson Norman Rutter and Wayne Bussey. Mrs. Bussey was a registered member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #79 Ladies Auxiliary and The Old Orange Hall.
