Noah: Diane (Peters), a resident of Moraviantown, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the age of 66. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Omer (1978) and Ethel (Noah) (1988) Peters. Beloved wife and best friend for 45 years to Francis Noah. Loving mother of Kelley, Renee (Scott), Janice (Wayne), Dayna, Joanna, and Melanie (Matt). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Samantha, Matthew, Madison, Mackenzie, Ravynne, Mattea, Kealy, Joshua, Shaun, Reid, Rylee, Mya, Zachary, and Keegan. Dear sister of Lyle, Gertrude (Dave), Nadine (Tarrance), Brenda (John), Carol, Gord (Andrea), Bonnie, Burke (Leslie). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Burton and an infant brother and sister. The Noah family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Tuesday, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Prayer service will be held on Tuesday evening at 8pm. Vanroboys – Suddenly at Chatham Kent Health Alliance on Tuesday February 5, 2013, with her loving family by her side, Margaret Anne (Anne) Vanroboys left her earthly home to meet her Heavenly Father. She left us peacefully and was in no pain. She had just celebrated her 68th birthday. She was the loving wife of Henry Vanroboys, Thamesville. In recent years, they have made Rondeau Park their second home. She was a caring, special mother to Carla & Kevin Fox, Steve & Gina Vanroboys and Jenn & Joe Marsh all of Thamesville. She was a doting Gramma to Megan, Dane & Trent Fox, Lucas & Audra Vanroboys and Oscar, Lucy, Libby, Boone & Scout Marsh. They loved their Mimah, Beach Gramma. She is also survived by her best friend, her sister, Lynn Liberty (Ben, Jr.). Special aunt to Kerry & Dennis Martin, Tania & Tim Gingerich and Joe & Erin Liberty and families. Also survived by her mother, Margaret Goodman, Dresden and her mother-in-law, Marie Louise Vanroboys, Thamesville. She will be reunited in Heaven with her father, Ted Goodman, brother, Pat Goodman and father-in-law, Oscar Vanroboys. At Anne’s request, there will be private visitation and funeral service. Jacklin: Wayne K., a resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully at home, with his family on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the age of 68. Born in Hamilton, son of the late Kenneth and Mary (Morris) Jacklin. Wayne played hockey for the Dresden Jr. Kings and Chatham Maroons. He was head coach of the Dresden Jr. Kings, Chatham Maroons and Mic Macs, Strathroy Blades, Sarnia Bees, and an assistant coach with the Leamington Flyers, Windsor Spitfires and Windsor Lancers. Wayne coached the Dresden Jr. Kings to an All Ontario Championship in (83-84), and Western Jr. B Championships with Chatham (91-92) and Sarnia (92-93). Beloved husband and best friend of Fran Jacklin. Loving father of Stacey Jacklin – Esch (Jim) of Chatham. Dear brother of Patricia Slawson of Thunder Bay. Sadly missed by his loving companions Shadow and Miss Boo. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Pickard, Jeffrey Allan, a resident of Blenheim passed away with his family by his side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the age of 45. Born in Chatham, son of the late Dennis Pickard and Charlene (Fraser) and Paul Phillips of R.R. 2 Muirkirk. He will be missed by his brothers Brad Pickard of Morpeth and Greg Pickard of Morpeth; nephews Jeremy, Skyler, Dustin and Wade; great niece Brooklynn and great nephew Kaiden. Sadly missed by several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant cemetery , Thamesville. Ennett: Josephine “Josi” formerly of RR #2 Dresden passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia at the age of 76 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Hoboken, Belgium daughter of the late Gustaaf and Marie (Derboven) Kiekens. Josi was a faithful member of the Carmelite Laity. Beloved wife and best friend of John “Jack” Ennett. Loving mother of Michele and Jim Finley of Dresden, Maureen and Mark Lynas of Georgetown, Kevin Ennett of Dresden and Sean and Pam Ennett of Thamesville. Cherished grandma of Stephanie, Laura, Leann, Aryn, Ashley, Chelsea, Joseph, Michael, Austin, Veronica and Jackson. Dear sister of Charlotte Vankerkhoven and dear sister-in-law of Charlie Ennett. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Tom and Mary Ennett, Gerry and Barb Ennett, Vivian Ennett and George Vankerkhoven. Elliott: Russell C. formerly of Shetland, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 28, 2013 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 87. Born in Euphemia, son of the late Charles and Mary (Gray) Elliott. Russell was a veteran of World War II serving in the R.C.A.F. ,was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge # 196, Florence, and was Past Chairman of the Four Counties Hospital Board. He owned and operated Elliott Bros. Grain and Feed in Shetland for over 50 years. Beloved husband of the late Mildred Fay (Leeson) Elliott (2008). Loving father of Robert and Bonita “Bonnie” Elliott and Catherine and Bob Osborne all of Shetland. Loving grandfather of Jennifer Elliott-Babula (Murray), Breanne Dawson (Edward), Russell Osborne (Nicole Rosseel) and Melissa Osborne (Matthew Sorrell). Proud great grandfather of Emma, Connor, Austin Babula and Elliott Dawson. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Alice Jean and Lloyd Wagner, Glenn and Norma Elliott, Maxine Elliott and Marian Elliott. "Bill" and Sharron Orr of Thamesville. Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter Pat Pishl and her late husband Rudy; grandson Greg Forsyth; sisters Marguerite, Lily, Doris, Grace, Annie; brothers Fred, George, Chap, Cecil, Les and Harry. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Patricia & Wayne Chipman, Randy & Valerie Dunlop, Steve & Beth Dunlop and Laurie Dunlop. Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Predeceased by son Phil Dunlop (2012).
