Tellier, Derek Armand

passed away suddenly in Vancouver on Tuesday, November 21st, 2000, in his 25th year. Sadly missed by his mother Heather Douglas and her husband Trevor Davies, and his brother Joel Tellier, all of Annan, and by his father George Tellier of Barrie.

A Remembrance of Derek's life will be held at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, on Friday, December 1st, at 1pm. Family and friends are invited to come and share their memories of Derek.

McCannel, Neil

passed away peacefully at the Southampton Care Centre on Thursday, November 23rd, 2000, Neil McCannel age 85 years, formerly of Burgoyne. Beloved husband of the late Vera McDonald (September 17th, 2000). Loving father of Anne McCannel of Burnaby, B.C., Mary and her husband John Phillips of Kincardine and Betty and her husband Laird Vanni of Barrie. Loved grandfather of Jason, Traci, Alicia, Nicole and Dustin. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Isobel and The Very Rev. Ken McMillan of Toronto, Jean McCannel of Burgoyne and Janet Gowanlock of R.R. #2, Port Elgin. Predeceased by his brothers Archie and Alex and by his sisters Marion Palmer and Kathleen Wade. He will be remembered by his many nieces and nephew.

Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral service will be conducted in Knox Presbyterian Church, Burgoyne, on Monday at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Julie Morden officiating.

Stein, Raeanne Margaret

As a result of an automobile accident on Monday, November 20th, 2000 at the age of 58, Raeanne Stein from the Holiday Golf Club, Port Elgin. Dear wife of Keith Stein. Mother of John and his wife Susan of Thornhill, Steve and his wife Sue of Kitchener, Keith and his wife Vicki of Montego Bay, Jamaica and Ken “Lenny” and his wife Terry of Newmarket. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Gavin, Thomas, Kirsten, Erica and Sarah Stein. Sister of Ken Adams, Larry Adams, Bob Adams, Danny Adams, Bonnie Mifflin, Dixie Jessop and Laurie Reitsma.

Rayner, Marian Isabel

At Central Place, Owen Sound, on Friday, March 30th, 2001, the former Isabel Howe, retired teacher and resident of Owen Sound. She is survived by her brother Edward and his wife Winnifred of Kincardine, her sisters-in-law Christina Howe of Kincardine, and Dorothy Ransome of Paisley, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Nelson and Carman.

At the Southampton Care Centre on Thursday, March 29th, 2001 in her 90th year, the former Marie Reavie, formerly of Port Elgin. Wife of the late John Miller. She is predeceased by her brother Earl Reavie.

Campbell, Mary Elizabeth

At Chesley Hospital on Monday, March 26th, 2001, in her 64th year, the former Mary Elizabeth Grant of Paisley. Beloved wife of Clem Campbell. Dear mother of Dawna and her husband Rick Wells of Fox Creek, Alberta, Mary Helen and her husband Bob Campbell of Paisley, and George and his wife Vi of Port Elgin. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and by her two sisters, Sylvia Hettrick and Vickie Abbs, both of Paisley. She is predeceased by her parents George and Donelda Grant.

He will be sadly missed by his parents Ernie and Dorothy Robbins of Sun City, California, brothers John, Terry, Steve, Chip and sisters, Brenda Owenby, Debbie Causley, and Sharon Rand. He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bruce and Betty Fraser, his brothers-in-law, Larry and Bruce and their families, all of Chatham and by many nieces and nephews.

At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Friday, March 23rd, 2001 in his 69th year, Bob Leeder of Saugeen Shores. Beloved husband of Betty Leeder. Father of Mary Jean and her husband Darrell Belrose of Guelph, John and his wife Sandra of Union, and Rick and his wife Marcie of Saugeen Shores. Stepfather of Mike Guse and his wife Becky of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania and Gary Guse of Port Elgin. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren Jaren and Jaycee Belrose, Nathan, Jesse, Jordaine, Hailey, Craige and Brooke Leeder, Jamie, Jennifer, Bobby, Keith, Brandon and Melissa Guse. He is predeceased by his parents Jack and Nellie Leeder and by his stepson Paul Guse.

At the Grey-Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Saturday, March 17th, 2001, at the age of 74 years, Kurt Folgmann of Port Elgin and formerly of Bramalea, husband of Ruth Folgmann of Port Elgin, and father of Harry and his wife Julie of Mississauga.

Grandpa to Tamara, Eric and Jeff. Great-grandpa to Cam’ron. He is survived by one sister Chrestel in Germany, by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, and by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Germany.

Funeral services will be conducted for the late Mr. Kurt Folgmann at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin on Tuesday, March 20th, at 11:00 a.m.

Cremation, with inurnment at Sanctuary Park cemetery , Port Elgin.

Grandma of Shannon and Michael Bahen, Richard and Christopher Stewart and Kayla, Nicole, Laura and Bradley Stele.
