In hospital on Friday, October 4, 2002 at the age of 76. Dearly loved husband of Pauline Legault. Dear father of Paulette (Raymond Thivierge), Suzanne (Luc Séguin), Lise (David Jennings), Robert (Lucie Champagne), Monique (Georges Bertrand) and Marguerite. Also loved by 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be held at St-Sebastien Roman Catholic Church, 1000 Frances Street, Ottawa on Friday, October 11, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment Hope cemetery. Funeral arrangements in care of the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

CAMPBELL, Dr. James Stewart FRC Path (EM), FCAP (EM) Peacefully in hospital on Wednesday, October 9, 2002, in his 80th year. Dearly beloved husband of Helen (nee Cameron). Dear father of Sandy (Diane), Norm (Jackie), Isabel (Mike Barre), Rod and the late Darya. Also loved by his nine grandchildren, Ian, Colin, Graham, Maggie, James, Christine, Luke, Elyse and Rory. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, on Saturday, October 12, 2002 from 1 p.m. until Funeral Service in the chapel at 2 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Perley Rideau Veterans Health Centre would be appreciated by the family.

E. Ralph Carlson - 10/11/2002

Member of the Ottawa Valley Country Music Hall of Fame 1988. Following his own schedule and determined to the end, Ralph left us at the Ottawa Hospital - General Campus on Thursday, October 10, 2002 in his 62nd year after a hard-fought battle with leukemia. Beloved husband and best friend for over 30 years of Elayne (Evans). Dear son of the late Eldon and Dorothy Carleson, and loved and admired son-in-law of the late Clifford and Marjorie Evans. Ralph's career as a country and blue grass singer, songwriter, recording artist and entertainer was his enduring and all-consuming passion, and he has been one of the mainstays of the Ottawa Country Music Community for over 40 years. Sincere thanks to the Bone Marrow Trasplant Team, the nurses of 5 West (most especially FAy), and the ICU staff at both the Civic and t he General, for their wonderful and comassionate care. Heartfelt thanks, also, also, to our "family" of friends whose love, supported and sustained us through this most difficult time. Friends are invited to celebrate Ralph's life at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Sunday, October 13, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, October 14 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ottawa Valley Country Music Hall of Fame in Ralph's memory would be most appreciated.

CLARK, Margaret A. In her 85th year suddenly at home on Sunday, October 6, 2002. Beloved wife of the late J.C. Clark and the late W.T. Farrell. She was a devoted mother and will be sadly missed by daughters Jan Farrell of Pointe Claire and Joey (Linda Roe) Farrell of Thunder Bay. Dear stepmother of Judy Clark and Jeff (Joanne) Clark of Toronto and the late David Clark. Cherished grandmother of Julie and Scott Clark. Margaret (Margo) will be fondly remembered by family and friends in London, Pointe Claire and Ottawa. Memorial Service to be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 70 Clyde Street, Almonte ON, on Friday, October 11, 2002 at 11:30 a.m. Following the service refreshments will be served. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of your choice would be deeply appreciated by the Farrell and Clark families.

Sister of Etta Fischman of New Jersey beloved mother in law to Maxine and Arthur Rabinovitch, Bubbie to Jonah Rabinovitch. Sister in Law of Barrie and Bessie Cohen & Ben Peters. Beloved Aunt and Great Aunt to countless nieces and nephews in Canada and the US. It is with sincerest thanks extended to the wonderful staff on the 7th Floor of the Ottawa Hospital General Campus. And a special thank you goes out to Kim, Grace and Monique. Graveside services to be held today at the Jewish Cemetary, Old Agudath Israel Area. Donations can be made to Yitzhak Rabin High School or Agudath Israel Congregation. “You may be gone, but in our hearts you will live on forever”

Cinthia (nee Ewing) Costain - 10/05/2002

Quietly at home on Friday evening at the age of 87 after leading a full and healty life. Wife of the late Cecil Costain. She will be greatly missed by daugther Linda(Patrick Moores), son Charles (Catherine)and grandchildren Cecily and Graham. At Cynthia's request there will be no visitation. The Funeral Service will be held at Epiphany Anglican Church, 1290 Ogilvie Road, Ottawa in Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at 2 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions to the Epiphany Anglican Church or to the C.N.I.B. would be appreciated by the family.

FAUCHER - Soeur Zélia (Ste Berthe) À la Maison canadienne, 15, avenue Oblate, Ottawa, le 6 octobre 2002 est décédée Soeur Zélia Faucher, de la Congrégation des Soeurs du Sacré-Coeur de Jésus, à l'âge de cent ans et quatre mois. Elle était née à Sainte-Marie de Beauce, Québec, le 12 mai 1902, de feu Joseph Faucher et de feu Corinne Tardif. Outre sa communauté, Soeur Zélia laisse dans le deuil plusieurs neveux et nièces. Elle fut prédécédée par Joseph (feu Berthe Couture), Maria (feu Mathias Létourneau), Émile, Rosa, s.s.c.j., Rose-Aimée, Denise (feu Émile Nadeau), Edmond (feu Simone Tremblay), Alzire (feu Gabrielle St-Hilaire), Albert (feu Louisette Couture) et Armand. La dépouille mortelle sera exposée à la Maison canadienne, 15, avenue Oblate, Ottawa, le lundi 7 octobre à 13h, et la liturgie des défunts sera célébrée en la chapelle de la communauté le mardi 8 octobre 2002, à 14h. L'inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame d'Ottawa. Parents et amis sont priés d'y assister sans autre invitation. La direction des funérailles a été confiée à la MAISON FUNÉRAIRE ST-LAURENT DE HULSE, PLAYFAIR & MCGARRY, 1200, ch. Ogilvie, Gloucester.

Myles will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends.
