PEACH, Edith - The family of Edith Peach announces with sorrow her passing on Friday, October 20, 2006 at the Meadowood Manor. Edith lived a full and rewarding life and will be missed by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bill in 1980. She is survived by her sons Arthur (Louise) of Sudbury, Ontario and Donald (JoAnne) of Toronto, Ontario; grandchildren Michael (Tracy), Christopher, Kelly (Chris) Pornaris and Michele (Steve) Coulter; great-grandchildren Daniel, Rachel, Sarah, Samuel and William Jacob. Edith was born in Calder, Saskatchewan and raised in Wynyard. She later moved to Winnipeg in 1928 where she worked as a hostess in the dining room at Eaton's Portage Avenue store. In the summer of 1928, she worked at the Banff Springs Hotel. Later that same year, she married William C. (Bill) Peach and built one of the first homes on Kingston Crescent in St. Vital. Edith and Bill were together for 52 wonderful years and she stayed on in the house following Bill's death for a total of 73 years. In keeping with mother's wishes, a private graveside service will be held at St. Vital cemetery with her ashes being laid to rest beside her dear husband. SABOURIN, Lily Maria (nee Leppanen) - Peacefully Lily passed away on Wednesday, October 18th, 2006 in Toronto at Lakeside Long Term Care. Beloved mother of Paul Sabourin, David Sabourin (Nicola) and Mary Louise Ernst (Dan). Loving grandmother to Lauren, Jordan, Benjamin and Shelby. Survived by sister Helen Ellwood (N.S) and Leo Leppanen (Ont.). Predeceased by Olga & Niilo Leppanen (parents) and Roger Sabourin. Graduate of Orillia's Soldier Memorial Hospital, Lily worked for over 40 years as a registered nurse in the Sudbury area. She spent almost 20 years working as head nurse on nights at Pioneer Manor. An active community member, Lily volunteered for the CNIB, a member of the Ladies of Kaleva and a member of the United Church. Lily loved to read. She saw the goodness in people and always had time to share a smile and a word with others. Lily loved people and life. Those who knew her were touched by her kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the CNIB would be appreciated. A celebration of Lily's life will be held for family and friends, time and venue to be confirmed. She has earned her wings and is now a true angel.

Baby Jorja Nicole Osborne March 10, 2006 - October 22, 2006 It is with indescribable heartache that we announce the passing of our beautiful angel, Jorja Nicole Osborne at the tender age of 7 months. On October 22, 2006, at the Timmins and District Hospital with her ever- loving Mommy and Daddy close-by, Jorja suddenly left our sides to be with God. Beloved daughter of Nicholas and Amy Moland-Osborne and dear sister to Maeve Osborne. She is survived by Grandparents, Eric and Carole Moland of Timmins and Christena Osborne and Larry Lucier of Chatham. She is loved by uncles Darryl Moland (Marsha Cann), Michael Hooper, and Jeff Lucier, aunties Lori Lucier and Maureen Hall. She will be deeply and sadly missed by her big cousins Emma and Julia Moland, Ben Hooper, Maddy and Alex Lucier-Hall and Tiffany and Spencer Lucier. She is also survived by GG Marie Moland and great grandfathers John Moland and Rodolphe Normandeau, and many loving great aunties and uncles and 2nd cousins. She is predeceased by her great grand- maman Aline Normandeau and great grandma Genevieve and great grandpa Charlie Osborne. Jorja was a little ray of sunshine who knew how to warm the hearts of those who loved her. She could make any stranger smile, and loved to capture the attention of those around her. She loved her big sister Maeve and her eyes sparkled whenever she was near. She had skin of porcelain and the most beautiful vibrant blue eyes we've ever seen. Jorja loved the outdoors and the fresh air of long evening walks in her stroller or in the snuggli, next to Mommy or Daddy's heart. Even though she is gone, this is where she will remain. A heartfelt thank you to all the caring staff at the Timmins and District Hospital who gave everything they could to try to give Jorja a second chance. Drs. John Barry Burch
BURCH, John Barry (P.Eng.) - passed away of Sunday, October 22, 2006 at McMaster Medical Centre, in his 75th year from complications after surgery. Barry was born in Vancouver on October 13, 1932, the only child of the late George (1991) and Violet Burch (1999). Barry graduated from the University of British Columbia as a Chemical Engineer in 1956 and moved to Toronto to work for C.I.L. Paints until 1960. He began work with S.C.Johnson & Son in Brantford on January 1, 1961, retiring from Johnson's in June 1987. Barry leaves to mourn his loss his loving and best friend Mary (Kerr, Thomson) his son David (Sue) of Thorold, daughter Karen of Hamilton, step-daughter Sue Thomson of Brantford and sister-in-law Jacqueline and her husband John Brown of Kitchener. He will be sorely missed by his grandchildren Michael and Matthew Burch, Anjiel, Christian and Tashia Merrill. He will also be missed by his cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and many friends he has made in his church and neighbourhood as well as former neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his first wife Norma (1982) and step-son Jim Thomson (1986). Barry and Mary moved to New Westminster and then Surrey B.C. in 1991. After the death of both his parents they moved back to Ontario, settling in Dunnville.
