WALKER, Dorothy Sarah Kathleen – passed away at the I.O.O.F. Home in Barrie on Tuesday, October 24th, 2006. Dorothy Walker of Barrie and formerly of Stroud in her 93rd year was the beloved wife of the late Carl Walker. Dear mother of John & his wife Sandy of Severn Bridge. Loving grandmother of Kimberley Walker of Barrie, Lisa Vanleueen & her husband Bill of Egbert and John & his wife Chrissie of Moonstone. Great-grandmother of Christopher, Caitlin, Billy, Ricky, Ryan and Michael. A graveside service will be held at the Sixth Line cemetery (Hwy.11 Innisfil) on Thursday, October 26th at 10:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association through the Jennett Chapel of the MCCLELLAND & SLESSOR FUNERAL HOME, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie L4N 3B5.

Beloved husband and best friend of Ruth Moore (nee Hinds) of St. George and much loved son of Germaine Moore of Montreal. Loved father of Kenneth and David (Tammy). Grandfather of Robert and Jessica, and Megan and Shannon. Dear brother of Kathryn Moore, Montreal and Bruce Moore, South Gillies, Ont. Dear step- father of Johanne Cleary (Andre Gagne), and their son Jessie Gagne (Amanda) and great granddaughter Isobel. Also missed by 6 stepchildren from a previous marriage and many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. OLSZOWKA, Casmir Joseph (Joe) - The world is darker and more lonely; our hearts and lives forever enriched. With profound sadness, we announce the passing of the beloved husband of Helena. Dear father, mentor and friend to Sharon and her husband Bob Colclough and their children Paula and Rob, and grandchild Ryan; to Michele (Mick) and her husband Ted Guz and their children who cherished their adoring and proud pupa, Natasha (Tashy) Giles Joseph and Victoria (Tori); and adored by his youngest daughter Sandra Olszowka and Michel Duron. Joe is the son of the late Victor and Carolina Olszowka, and the oldest brother of Anne Surmanski and Frank and his wife Patricia. Loved brother in law to Olga Wowchuk and John and Dolores Wagner. Much loved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews including Greg and Suzanne Olszowka of Texas and their children Alexandria, Nicholas, William and Elizabeth; and David and Anna Olszowka and baby Joseph (Joey) Olszowka. Joe also enjoyed the close friendship of his esteemed confidant, Wolfgang Scholz. Joe's enormous capacity for joy and optimism in life is matched only by his compassion for others as exemplified by his many philanthropic endeavors including founding St.Joseph's Benevolent Trust. Variety is the spice of life which he experienced in his careers as a real estate broker, restauranteur, developer, and farm owner. Always the intellect, always with wit, he approached everyday and everyone — and always with class. He is survived by his daughters Angie and Brian Manninger, Melynda and Dave Stennet, and two grandchildren Jeremy and Kaylie. Dear brother of Diana and Carlo, Jim and Janet, Sue and John, Leigh and Jenny, Guy and Joanne, Perry and Josie, Art Jr. and Monica, and Dave. Dear Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Dear stepfather of Tim and Joni, Mike and Katherine, and Mickey and Rick, all of Ohio. Dear Poppel to Holly, Adam, Josh, Jason, Michael and Jana. Ken was born in Barrie, Ontario son of Claud Faux and Gertrude (Hipkin) Faux. Former resident of South Cayuga. Beloved husband of the late Violet May (Williamson) Faux. Dear father of David and his wife Margaret, Ferne (Faux) Bolton and her husband Brian Bolton. Will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Catharinah, Daniel, Adam (and their mother Ruth), Blake, and Brittany. Great-grandfather to Eva Mina Kim and Serenah Faux. Survived by sister Doris (Faux) Aston.
