KREASE, Gord - passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Monday, October 23rd, 2006. Gordon Wilfred Krease, of Durham and formerly of Cambridge, in his 80th year. Loving husband of the former Doreen Neely. Cherished father of Wayne of Thornbury, Paul of Hanover, Brian and his wife Cathi of Innisfil, Janet and her husband Ken Gardiner of Durham, Gordon of Cambridge, Michael and his wife Linda of Cambridge and Jo-Ann and her husband Tim Bieman of Durham. Fondly remembered by his 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother David and his wife Riena, and his sister Catherine Rosebrugh. Predeceased by his daughter-in-law Sandy Krease and three sisters. Gord and his brother-in-law, David Ayers, owned and operated the Millcreek Service Station in Cambridge. A private family service will be held. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. McQUARRIE, James Bennett “Ben“ - In Meaford on Tuesday October 24, 2006. Ben McQuarrie of Meaford, beloved husband of the former Jessie Heal, at the age of 76. Loved father of James of Heathcote, Rick (Darlene) of Meaford, and Lori (Rob Howell) of Collingwood. Fondly remembered by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and predeceased by one grandson. Dear brother of Elsie (late Emerson) Dawn of Clarksburg, Lealand (Helen) McQuarrie of Meaford and Doreen (Mrs. Jim Green) of Flesherton. Predeceased by brothers Joe (Vi) McQuarrie of Exeter and Edwin (late Marilyn) McQuarrie of Shallow Lake. Family will receive friends at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, THE VALLEY CHAPEL, in Thornbury on Thursday from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral and committal services will be conducted at Grace United Church in Thornbury on Friday, October 27, 2006 at 11:00a.m. with cremation to follow. A family service of interment of Ben's cremated remains will take place at Lakeview cemetery at a later date. Brother of Alva (Art) Fitzsimmons of Meaford; Barbara Bean of Kingston; Judy (Brian) Reid of Cumberland, B.C.; Tom (Shannon) Young of Owen Sound; Deb (Wade) Wall of Fort Saskatchewan, Alta.; John (Karin) Young of Meaford. Brother-in-law of Bert Fox of Trenton. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and dear friend Merry Moore and family. Predeceased by one sister Kate Fox. A memorial service will be held at THE GARDINER-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Meaford, on Saturday, October 28th at 10:00 am. Interment , Lakeview cemetery , Meaford. WILLIAMS, Ferol (nee Taylor) - passed away peacefully on Sunday October 22nd, 2006 at the age of 87, at Mount Siani Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband Max Williams and her son, William Barr, and her daughter-in-law Debbie St.Charles. She will be remembered fondly by her step-daughter Adel Brown and her family.“Nana“ will be sadly missed by her granddaughters and their spouses, Karen and Jeff Seburn, Robin and Graham Carter, and Maureen and Anthony Parlatore. Great grandchildren include Quinn and Jack Seburn, Jamie and Sarah Parlatore, and Cole Barr. A special Thanks to the staff at Northumberland Hospital in Cobourg. Joe will be sadly missed by his family and many friends whom he has touched over the years. He worked at Ontario Hydro, Windsor and Imperial Oil for 25 years. Beloved father of Jessica VanderKloet and her husband Todd, Joseph Ioannis and his fiancée Christine Marsella. Dear grandfather of Tyler and Paige VanderKloet. Predeceased by his father James Ioannis, mother Kathleen (Whittal) Richards, step-father Len Richards and brother Kriste Ioannis. LANE, Sallie - Suddenly on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 Sallie Lane, age 72 of Sarnia. Beloved wife of George Lane. Loved mother of Paul and his wife Kelly Lane and their two children Matthew and Adam, and David Lane and his two children Cooper and Kaitlin. Sallie was an active and passionate lawn bowler and was a past president of the Sarnia Lawn Bowling Club. She was a travel agent in Sarnia for over 30 years. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2006 at 1:00 pm at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the SMITH FUNERAL HOME on Friday from 12:00 pm until service time at 1:00 pm. Sympathy through donations to the Sarnia and District Humane Society.

Myrna (Mead) McGuire

McGUIRE, Myrna (Mead) - A resident of R.R.# 5 Bothwell, passed away suddenly as the result of a car accident on Sunday, October 22, 2006 at the age of 57. Born in Ingersoll, daughter of the late A. James and Bernice (Fulkerson) Mead. Myrna taught at Brescia College, London, Centralia College, and in Alberta at Olds College for 9 years. Most recently Myrna has been teaching at Lambton Kent Composite School, Dresden. Beloved husband of Bob McGuire. Loving mother of Ian and Jordan McGuire of R.R.# 5 Bothwell. Dear sister of Alan Mead of Petrolia. Loving daughter-in-law of Bill and Laura McGuire of R.R.# 2 Oil Springs. Dear sister-in-law of Peter and Cheryl McGuire of R.R.# 2 Oil Springs, Ross and Janice McGuire of R.R.# 1 Croton, Doug McGuire of R.R.# 1 Croton, and Tim McGuire of R.R.# 2 Oil Springs. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Nora O'Donnell

O'DONNELL, Nora - Peacefully, on October 23, 2006, aged 90 years. Predeceased by husband Eoghan (1999), grandson Joseph (2006), and brothers Jim, Ned, and Peter McMenamin. Survived by her six children: Aidan, Fionuala (Wes), Grainne, Ciaran, Ronan (Charlene), and Fergus (Amanda), and her sisters Mary McMenamin and Nan McMenamin. Grandmother of Shona (Scott), Brendan, Sarah, Laura, Emily, Timothee and Mary. Also survived by sister-in-law Jackie McMenamin (Sarnia), many nieces and nephews including Joe McMenamin, Peter McMenamin, Ed McMenamin, and Suzanne Maki of Sarnia. Nora was born in County Donegal, Ireland in 1916. She trained as a nurse and midwife in England and was injured when her hospital suffered a direct hit during the bombing of London. She was married in 1946 and raised her children in Glasgow, and emigrated to Canada in 1969.In Sarnia she provided home care for many clients through the Red Cross Homemaker Service. The family wishes to thank the staff of Marshall Gowland Manor, who cared lovingly for our mother for the past 10 years. Visitation will be held at McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church on Thursday, October 26th at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Marshall Gowland Manor Resident's Council or charity of your choice.

Marie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. She was Past President of the CWL and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxillary, and was a long time member of the IODE. She will be deeply missed by Frank Hallam, her children; Rod Bateman (Marlene), Debbie Clark, Billy Bateman (Barb), Maureen Burghardt (Dan), her son-in-law Bill Clark, her grandchildren; Charlene Clark (Phil), Jodie Bateman, Adam and Mikayla Burghardt, Justine Essex, Bobby Essex (Marlene), her great grandchildren; Nicolas, Danesha and Robert Jr.; her sister Deloris McGonegal (and family), her brother; Bruce Ibbitson (Suzie and family), her nephew; Kevin, her many wonderful friends and all of her special little friends who called her Grandma Betty. She was predeceased by her parents Gerald and Dorothy Ibbitson, her brother Lloyd Ibbitson, daughter Louise, granddaughter Corina Clark and grandson William Clark. A celebration of her life was held on Friday, Oct. 20, at the Island Bible Chapel, Richards Landing.
