Beloved wife of Don Heximer and loving mother of Laurie-Ann Braun and her husband Tom of Grimsby and Cathy Reeves and her husband Shawn of Welland. Precious Grama to Megan, Devin, Liam and Jordan. Dear sister of Doug Leavens and his wife Sharon, Allan Leavens and his wife Rosemary and Ron Leavens and his wife Karen and their families, all of Fonthill. Dear sister-in-law of Doris and Bob MacDonald of Deep River, Jean Smith of Prescott and Norma Heximer of Welland and their families. Loving mother of Eleanor Nancy Young of Armstrong B.C., Joseph Allie Young and his wife Karen of Thunder Bay and predeceased by her son Rodger Alvin Young (1993). Beloved wife of the late Ian (Mac) MacIntosh and loving mother of Carole and her late husband Larry Little of Welland, Glenn and his wife Karren of Lowbanks and daughter-in-law Dianne macIntosh of Welland. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Edward (Ted) Little of Iqaluit, Nunavut, Todd Little of Alberta, Martin Little of Welland, Tracy Lobbezoo of Port Colbourne, Stewart MacIntosh of Dunnville, Glenda VanVliet of Wainfleet, Jodie MacIntosh of Milton, Jason MacIntosh of Welland and great-grandchildren Alissa and Shaelynn Lobbezoo, Megan and Mathew VanVliet. She was predeceased by her parents Soloman and Kate Wood, her son Brian and a brother Arthur. The family will receive friends at the JAMES L. Mrs Frances Elizabeth Peacock

Frances Elizabeth Peacock passed away in her 83rd year on January 29th, 2004 at St. Catharines General Hospital. Predeceased by her former husband Fletcher Peacock (1997). Loving mother of Stephen Peacock and Darlaine of Toronto, and Susan Bolsover of Devon, England. Proud grandmother of Jacquie, Michael and Lincoln Bolsover, of London, England. Dear sister of Douglas Murray and wife Edna of Saint John, N.B. Fran will be sadly missed by her family and friends for her unique style and that twinkle in her eye. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held on February 21st, 12-4 pm. at the Wildflower Restaurant, Fonthill. Those wishing to attend are asked to contact the family at 1-416-484-8743 by February 14th. Mrs Mary Elizabeth "Redmond" Youngblut

At the Woolcott Wing of Welland Hospital on Friday, January 30, 2004 Mary Elizabeth Youngblut of Welland in her 74th year. Loving mother of Ronald Youngblut of Welland and predeceased by her husband Wilson Henry Youngblut (1987) and her brothers John and Henry. Mary is survived by several nieces, nephews and their families. Special thanks to our neighbour Alice and all the staff at Woolcott Wing of Welland Hospital. Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME-DIXON CHAPEL, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill. at Linhaven Home For The Aged, St. Catharines, on Friday February 6th 2004, in his 88th year. Mr. Ingram was formerly of Welland. Beloved husband of Mary Jane (Beaudoin) Ingram. Loving father of Dorothy Chesson and her husband Paul of Thorold and Allan Ingram and his wife Anne of St. Catharines. Also loved by his granchildren Keith Horton and his wife Nancy of Thorold, Susan Horton of Fenwick, Mary Ingram-Sacks and her husband Kevin Sacks of Kitchener, Kevin Ingram and his wife Debbie of Vancouver and his great-grandchildren Nathan, Kim and Haley. Survived by his brother Roland Ingram and his wife Margaret of Wainfleet, his sisters-in-law Dianne Theal (and her late husband Hartley) and Annette Robins (and her late Husband Albert). Predeceased by his brother Festes Ingram and his wife Marguerite and his brother-in-law Ulric Beaudoin, his step-brothers Arthur Warden, Lloyd Warden and step-sister Violet Reid. Mrs Davidina MacBeath "McKay" Strawn

passed away at Sunset Haven on Tuesday, February 10th, 2004. Mrs. Davidina "Mac" MacBeath (nee MacKay) R.N. of Welland, in her 94th year. Born in Dunbeath, Caithness Scotland in 1911. Survived by her loving husband, Hughston "Hugh" Strawn, her sister Minnie Sinclair of Rosythe Scotland and a nephew, Gordon Anderson (Alma) of Chatsworth, Ontario. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alexander and Isabel MacKay, brothers John and Alexander and sisters Elizabeth Sutherland (Adam) and Meim Barney (John) of Scotland and Margaret Anderson (Andrew) of Etobicoke. Special thanks to Sunset Haven staff for their compassionate care. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Friday at the JAMES L. Mr John Edward "Jack" Semley

at the Woolcott Wing, Welland Hospital, on Friday February 13, 2004. Mr. Jack Semley of Ridgeville, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Winifred "Win" Semley. Loving father of David Semley and his wife Lynda of Welland. Predeceased by his sister Anna Anderson and his brothers Victor and Herbert Semley. Jack was retired from Stelpipe after 42 years of service. He was a World War ll Veteran serving with the Midland Regiment and a member of the Fonthill and Ridgeville Seniors Club. at the Welland Hospital, on Saturday February 21, 2004. Mr. George Campbell, of Fonthill, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Margaret Campbell. Loving father of Drew Campbell (Carol) of Tonawanda N.Y., Dwight Campbell (Lynn) of Pickering, Dana Leshchyshyn (Orest) of Toronto and dear father-in-law of Linda Campbell of Welland. Also loved by his grandchildren; Stephen Campbell (Jennifer) of Toronto, Keely Campbell of St. Catharines, Sarah Campbell of Victoria B.C., Meghan Campbell of Pickering, Andrea Leshchyshyn and Mark Leshchyshyn both of Toronto and by his great-grandchildren Sierra and Trevor Campbell; nieces and nephews, Jim, Gina and Bill Boccioletti, Glen Campbell, Margaret Sboega and Brian Barrett. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Glen, Jim, Joe, Margaret and Mary. Mr. Campbell was a long-time employee of the former Ontario Paper Company, retiring after 37 years and was a member of the United Association Local 666. He served with the R.C.A.F during World War Two and was a 50 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 17 in Thorold. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Tuesday at the a JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME - DIXON CHAPEL, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill. The funeral service will be conducted at St. Alexander's Catholic Church, 50 Pelham Town Square (at Station Street) Fonthill, on Wednesday February 25th at 1:00 pm. with cremation to follow. Prayers will be said at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 8:00 pm. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 17, Thorold, will conduct a service at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 6:45 pm. Mr Donald John Montgomery

at his residence, on Thursday February 19, 2004, Donald John Montgomery in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Ada (Sumbler). Dear father of Jim (Sandra) Montgomery and of Lucy (Robert) Dunbar. He will be Sadly missed by his grandchildren Sharon, Bill, Dave (Jennifer), Ken (Tarina), Tom (Rachael) and by his six great-grandchildren. Donald was predeceased by brothers Richard, Orvil, Stanley and by sisters Flossie, Margaret and Irene. Donald worked for United Steel for 35 years and 10 years for Port Weller Dry Docks. Declan Patrick Murphy

It is with great sadness that the Murphy family announce the sudden passing of their dear brother Declan, in his 49th year. Predeceased by his parents Noel and Pat. He will be missed by Kieran and Susanne of Burlington, Paul and Elizabeth of California and Ted of Wellend. Dear uncle of Caidleigh, Quinn and Cassandra. After a brief illness, Declan succumb to Cancer at the Port Colbourne General Hospital, on Saturday September 14th 2002. A private family memorial service was held at the James L. Pedlar Funeral Home, Fonthill. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Loving mother of Judith O'Cahan of Toronto and Eric Nygren and his wife Bonnie of Slocan Park BC. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Jennifer, Leif and Karl. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Charles and Lorna Bartz. A special thanks to Heather Thomas and the 6th floor staff and all the staff in the Emergency Room at Welland Hospital. Peacefully at his home, in Welland, on Saturday, January 17th 2004, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Mildred (Irwin) Smith and dear father of David Smith (Hafiza) of Brampton. Dear brother of Eva Duncan of Rosetown Saskatchewan, Ethel Brooks, Lois Warren, Dorothy Bradey all of St. Catharines and predeceased by his brother Roy Arthur Smith. Survived by his step-children Thomas and Mona Irwin of Ottawa, Stuart and Alice Irwin of Orono, Allan and Carole Irwin of Wainfleet, Pamela Corroll of Victoria B.C. and their families. Visitation and prayers will be at the JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME - DIXON CHAPEL, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill, on Thursday, January 22nd 2004 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. with cremation to follow.
