ROWS, Betty Marie - Entered into rest quietly, at Providence Manor on Friday, October 27, 2006, in her 77th year. Betty Marie (nee Bishop), beloved wife of Orville Rows for 55 years. Dear mother of John Rows and his wife Cathy of Elginburg, and Cathy Howard and her husband Steve of Halifax, NS. Affectionately known as 'Gram' to Timothy Rows and Christopher and Gregory Howard. Survived by her brother Ken Bishop and his wife Ida of Kingston and sister Verna Young of Oshawa. Predeceased by siblings Doreen Denneny, Donald Bishop and Arlene Skeggs. Also fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, CATARAQUI CHAPEL (1900 John Counter Boulevard). Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at OUR LADYS OF LOURDES CATHOLIC CHURCH (490 Days Road) on Wednesday, November 1 at 10:30 am. Rev. John J. Brennan officiating. Rite of Committal at St. Mary's Catholic cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to PCCCF .Providence Manor (Montreal 5) in Betty's memory. (Donations by cheque only please)

Ethel Fern (nee Hornbeek) Hamilton

HAMILTON, Ethel Fern (nee Hornbeek) - Peacefully at Fairmount Home after a lengthy illness on September 29, 2006 in her 79th year. Survived by her husband Alex “Merrill“ Hamilton of 50 years, also survived by her brother George (Verna) Hornbeek. Family will receive friends at THE TROUSDALE FUNERAL HOME, Sydenham, on Monday October 30th between the hours of 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday October 31 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. James Reynolds officiating. Interment to follow at Desert Lake cemetery. For those desiring memorial donations may be made to the Parham Free Methodist Church, in Lieu of flowers. Affectionately known as ‘G.G.' to her great-grandchildren Sierra, Brent, Mackenzie and Bryan. Dear sister of Mary Desjardins. Aunt of Edwina, Carmen, Denise and Ted. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Lena Harris and her sister Ruby Harris. At the request of the family there will be no public visitation. A private graveside service will be held. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations made to a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Loving mother of Elizabeth and her husband Mike Crane of Oakville, Ada and her husband Andrew Prince of Honeywell and Peter and his wife Kathie of Picton. Dear sister of Narda and sister-in-law of Marja both of Holland Proud “Oma“ to Ryan, Trevor, Shona, Fiona, Andrew, Christopher, Melissa, Adam and Stefon. Mrs. VanNoordt is resting at the WHATTAM FUNERAL HOME, 13 Main Street West, Picton, Ontario. Funeral Service will be held at Bethany Christian Reformed Church, Bloomfield, on Monday, October 30th at 10 a.m. Pastor Kasey VanderVeen officiating. Dear sister of the late Ruby (James Brown Sr.), Myrtle (William Briceland), Sanford James, Malcolm (Gertrude McCue), Earl (Helen Amey), Veronica (Thomas Donovan), Rita (Gerald McNamee), Eileen (Michael Sudak Sr.) and Marie Reason. Survived by treasured brother-in-law William Season Sr. Loved daughter-in-law of the late James Alexander Sutherland and Marguerite Felker. DAVIS, Hazel L. (nee) Robinson (Formerly Wood) - It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, on Friday October 20, 2006 at the Brantford General Hospital, Palliative Care after a three year battle with cancer. Hazel is predeceased by her parents Glory and Aubrey Robinson and her beloved husband William G. Davis (October 26, 1996). She leaves behind her children Rob and Ivana Wood, Kelly and Joe Capaldi, Mickey and Wilma Wood, Andrea and David Manning, Tony and Linda Wood, Tracy and Sabrina Davis. Hazel was a fun and devoted grandmother to her 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Dear sister in law to Shirley and Alan Jones, Ted Davis, Butch and Trish Davis, Kelly and Maria Davis and Judy Chammings, also many nieces and nephews. Hazel will be missed by her dear friends Sandi and Ron McCarthy of Las Vegas, Lorraine Clifford and Marie Borbely. She was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Burford. Hazel enjoyed nothing more than being with her family and a good round of golf. She enjoyed life, was an inspiration to all who knew her and will be missed. At Hazel's request cremation has taken place. A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church 102 King Street East, Burford on Saturday October 28, 2006 at 1:30 pm, with an open house to follow. The Reverend Larry Brown to officiate. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Hazel's memory to the charity of your choice.
