NIENHUIS, MARK: This young man was taken home to
the Lord on March 10, 2005. Mark was a wonderful
young guy who was loved by so many people. He was
an amazing son to Steven and Ann Nienhuis, a great big
brother to Rebecca and Calvin Nienhuis. He also fell
very comfortably into his new roll as an Uncle to Ethan
Nienhuis, whom he couldn't have loved any more than he
did. His girlfriend Claire Graham meant the world to him
and he wouldn't even go a day without talking to her. He
loved her more than words could say. He was very close
with his grandparents, John and Alice DeHaan, and
Murray Penrose. He had the utmost respect for all of his
Aunts and Uncles, Pete and Grace DeHaan, Ed and
Wilma DeHaan, Kevin and Laura DeHaan, Dale and Anne
Traver, Dean and Cindy Swick, and Wayne and Grace
Roorda.
Mark's friends were also very dear to him and he loved
them all very much. Everyone who knew this young man
knew how special he was and they have all been touched
by him in one way or another. He will be loved always
and greatly missed, but his memory and character will live
in all of our hearts forever. The funeral service was held
at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle in Hamilton on Monday,
