Born in Raleigh Township in 1917, daughter of the late Laura Henderson and George Cleeve. Dear sister of Wilfred Cleeve of Chatham. OSBORNE, John Morley - Of Morpeth, passed away on Friday January 19, 2007 at London Victoria Hospital. He was born in Chatham 64 years ago, son of the late John Osborne and Mildred Wightman. John is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, the former Frances Isabell Maynard. Dear father of John, Robert, Frank and Bonnie all of RR#3 Blenheim, Tom and Ted of Morpeth. Drew was the cherished grandson of Graham and Marlene Roberts of Clarksburg and Irene Robertson of Meaford and he will be fondly remembered by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation. Robert “Bob“ Clark Phillips
PHILLIPS, Robert “Bob“ Clark - Born February 11, 1928. passed away peacefully at Trillium Hospital, Mississauga, surrounded by his family, on January 20, 2007. Soul mate and cherished husband of 54 years to Evelyn Elda Phillips (nee, McTavish). Dedicated, caring father to Robert (partner Katherine Nawrocki), George (wife Katherine Reid) and Carol (husband Dr. Ian Cook). Loved brother of Margaret Fulmer and Bill Phillips. Proud grandfather of seven; Ryan, Jeremy, Curtis, Adrian, Jed, Clara and Ben. With his brother Bill, Bob was able to build a small tinning business into the largest, galvanizing company in Canada. He was past president of the American Galvanizers Association, Kingsway Kiwanis, past master of Mizpah Masonic Lodge and was a member of Islington United Church. Bob celebrated and enjoyed life to the very end, always anticipating and preparing for the next adventure; winters in Florida, fishing in Manitoulin and groundskeeping at the farm in Flesherton. He had a passion for flying. He was in his glory in the cockpit of his floatplane flying to Sans Souci. Bob dealt positively with Parkinson's disease for 16 years. Through the loving care of Irene Simms and Evelyn, Bob lived with dignity and happiness in his own home. We admired Bob for his stamina, determination and indomitable will. He is now free of his struggle with Parkinson's and can be at peace.
