Nick was a longtime resident of Niagara Falls where he practiced law for over 30 years, pursuing all aspects of his career until the time of his death. He served his community as an active volunteer on the Board of Governors of the Greater Niagara General Hospital, as president of the Boys and Girls Club, and on the board of Niagara Concerts. An accomplished musician Nick played Trombone with the Niagara Falls Concert Band, Violin with Mercredi Musique Chamber Orchestra and was the Carilloneur of Christ Church. He was a member of the NAWCC, The St. Catharines Flying Club and the St. Catharines Amateur Radio Club VE3MFQ. As a world traveler Nick visited the four corners of the Globe including trips above the Arctic Circle to the lands that he loved. As a graduate of University of Western Ontario, his curiosity was ongoing and his quest for knowledge was infinite. He was a member of the Ontario 1/4 Century Club. A Roman Catholic he belonged to St. Bernadine of Sienna Church. An avid outdoorsman he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
