DOOL - John Edward 'Ted'
At the North Bay General Hospital, McLaren Site on Wednesday May 11, 2005. Beloved husband of Lois Anne Jackson. Loving father of Mike Dool and his wife Lori, Cheryl Dool and her friend Shane, Sandra Cunningham and her husband Ron, Edie Dool all of North Bay and John Dool and his wife Michelle of Calgary. Lovingly remembered by his 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Ted will be sadly missed by his sibling Elaine Harling, Sylvia Finch, Harvey (Jeannine) Dool and Milton (Margaret) Dool all of North Bay. Predeceased by his parents Boyd and Gladys Dool and sisters Margaret, Karen and Marina.

Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from city hall) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11 am. Interment Forest Lawn cemetery.

SULLIVAN - Lloyd
It is with a very heavy heart we announce the peaceful passing of our father Stanley Lloyd Sullivan, on May 16th, 2005, in his 77th year. He will live on in the memories of his children Bonnie Taylor (Mark) of North Bay, Jill Csirik (Tom) of Bradford, Ed Sullivan (Cindy), Christine Hollands both of North Bay and grandchildren Jennifer and Greg Taylor, Scott Hollands, Graham Fraser and Jordan Sullivan. He is predeceased by his loving wife the former Mae James, their daughter Judith Ann and by his brothers Herbert, Ken and Donald. He is survived by his siblings Orville Sullivan (Jessie) and Shirley McDonnell. Lloyd retired from Silverwoods Diary to enjoy a life of gardening, building, crib, creating and refurbishing with his tools and time at the Cottage. .

Visitation will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home (across from City Hall) on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9:00 PM. Funeral Services from the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday May 19th, at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated by the family to the Ross Tilley Burn Centre or to a Charity of your choice

BILLINGSLEY - Rob
Suddenly on Monday, May 16, 2005. Rob Billingsley, was the beloved husband of Wendy Masters, he was in his 44th year. Loving father of Danny and Kyle both at home. Dearly loved son of Doug Billingsley and his wife Wendy of Nipissing. He was predeceased by his mother Patricia Hunter-Phillips. Dear brother of Shaun and his wife Susan also of Nipissing. Lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be missed by his companions Bubba, Brody, Sly and the late Cujo.

Visitation will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9:00 PM. Funeral Services from the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 21st, at 11:00 am. Cremation will follow the service.

If desired, donations to the North Bay Humane Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.

WHALLEY - Earl Howard
(February 5, 1920 - May 19, 2005) At the North Bay General Hospital - Scollard Site, on Thursday, May 19, 2005. Earl Howard Whalley, the beloved husband of the late Linda Irene Thomson (Watling). Dear father of Dave Whalley (Denise) of North Bay, Earl Whalley Jr. (Gisele) of Haydon and Lynda St. Peter (Steve) of Woodville. Earl will be lovingly remembered by his 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Garth (Shirley) and Don both of Lake Placid, Bill (Simone), Lorna Chicquen & Sheila Wunsch (Ernie) all of North Bay, Keith (Dawn) of Eau Claire, Doris McLaren (Edgar) of Rutherglen, Ruth Snider of St. Catherines and Hazel Whalley (Lawrence Bester) of Powassan. Earl was predeceased by his parents the late W.D.C. (Will) & Carrie Whalley, sisters Gertrude Graff and Mildred Sullivan and his brothers Ernest and Robert. Earl's working life was spent in the out of doors. He started working for his father in Eau Claire in the logging business. He then worked for several years in the construction business and became a hoisting engineer and spent several years with the MTO. Prior to his retirement he worked for the IMS for 20 years.

Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in Trinity United Church on Monday, May 23rd, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the Calvin Township cemetery , on Tuesday.

If desired, donations to the Diabetic Society or the Trinity United Church General Fund would be appreciated by the family.

LIBBEY - Eeginald Wills
Peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site on Sunday April 24, 2005 in his 91st year. Reg was the eldest of the 10 children of Ernest and May Libbey of Eau Claire. Survived by his sister Alda Pellerin of North Bay, sister Velma Beckett of Eau Claire, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and favourite cousins.

Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from city hall) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11 am. Interment at the Calvin Township cemetery at a later date.

If desired donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

STARGRATT (nee Skilton) - Elizabeth
1910 - 2005 passed away peacefully to be with the Lord, on Friday June 3, at Cassellholme. Predeceased by her husband Samuel Stargratt (1978), her son Walter and daughters Laura and Patricia. Survived by daughters Vera, Iris, Ruth, Barbara, Betty, Judy and sons Sam and Richard. She was the cherished grandmother of 32 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home this evening from 7 - 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held from the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday June 7th, at 11 am. Internment will follow in the Callander Union cemetery.

If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.

MOORE - Kenneth Robert
Departed to be with his Lord on Wednesday June 1st, 2005 while in his 79th year. Kenneth Robert Moore, the beloved husband of Doris (nee Phillips). Loving father of Ronald and his wife Judith of North Bay, Steve and his wife Karen of Timmins, and step daughter Dorothy, who predeceased him in February of 2005, and her husband Ron of New Brunswick. Cherished grandfather of Megan, Robyn, Ronnie, and great grandson Brandon. Sadly missed by his sister in law Marion Moore also of North Bay. Predeceased by his parents David and Bertha Moore, brother Reg and nephew Douglas. Kenneth was a gospel evangelist for 37 years telling others of his Saviour and friend.

Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from city hall) on Friday June 3rd, 2005 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. then in the Nipissing Junction Gospel Hall on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time for services at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn cemetery.

HILL (nee Moore) - Eva Irene
Mrs. Eva Hill, beloved wife of the late Gerald (Jed) Hill, passed away at the North Bay General Hospital, McLaren Site on June 3, 2005, at the age of ninety-four years. Prior to her recent illness, Eva lived at the Empire Living Centre in North Bay and was a member of the Retired Teachers of Ontario and the Fidelis Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She had been an active member of Emanuel United Church for many years. She is survived by her stepmother, Pearl Moore as well as by her two nephews, Rob Martyn, husband of Judy Martyn, and Peter Hill, husband of Mary Jo Hill, and her two nieces Mary Lynn Armstrong (nee Martyn), wife of Richard Armstrong, and Helen Ellis, wife of the late Gordon Ellis. Her nephew William (Bill) Bailey predeceased her. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and numerous great great nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00AM on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Bay General Hospital Foundation, or to a charity of one's choice.

BEILBY (nee Goodreau) - Faye
Died at the North Bay General Hospital - Scollard Site, on Sunday, June 5th, 2005. Faye Goodreau, was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Beilby, she was in her 68th year. Loving mother of Emiel Goodreau and his wife Brenda of North Bay, Penny Sequin of Corbeil, Faith-Ellen Chevrier and Jody Beilby both of North Bay. She was the beloved daughter of Audrey Goodreau and the late Murrel. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Darren, Jamie-Lynn, Sarah, Tyler, Brittany and by her great grandchild Jaden. Faye will be sadly missed by her siblings Merle Cheaney of Hamilton, Bob Goodreau and Robin Goodreau both of Kitchener, Cindy Meinzinger of Hamilton and Terry Goodreau of North Bay.

Visitation will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home (across from City Hall) on Wednesday, June 8th from 1:00 pm until time for Funeral Services in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM. Cremation at the Forest Lawn Crematorium to follow.

If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.

HORNER - Douglas Gregory
Suddenly at the North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site on Monday June 6, 2005 in his 59th year. Dear husband of Susan. Loving father of Jennifer Wolfe (Stewart) of Brooklin, Ont. and Gregory (Cassaundra) of North Bay. Sadly missed by grandchildren Jaymee and Savannah Wolfe. Survived by brothers and sisters James of Kingston, Diane (Doug) of Burlington, Ron (Sue) of Elliott Lake, Gord (Joan) of London and Linda also of London. Also missed by his sister-in-law Henrietta of Burlington. Predeceased by his parents James and Ida Horner and brother Bruce. Doug retired from the Toronto Police Service in 1996 after 26 years as a constable.

Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home (across from city hall) on Thursday from 12- 2 pm. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2 pm. Interment to follow on Friday at 4 pm at the Woodland cemetery in London.

BRUNETTE (nee Mantha) - Rita
It is with great sadness that the Brunette family mourns the loss of their beloved Mother, Rita, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, June 14, 2005, in her 92nd year. Rita leaves behind seven children: Jeannine Rota (Victor), Helen Randle (Peter), Maurice (Barbara), Annette Corbeil (Rene), Raymond (Jewell Ann), Andre (Gillian) and Claude (Nat) along with fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Born in North Bay, Ontario, on January 12, 1914, predeceased by her husband, Camille (Cam) Brunette, and her parents, Marie-Jeanne and Olivier Mantha. Sister to Andy Mantha (Sault Ste. Marie), Irene Kozlo (Sault Ste. Marie) and Cecile (Sally) Boudreau of North Bay. Predeceased by her brothers Rodolphe (Rudy) Emile, Armand (Nick), all of North Bay and Leo (Burlington) along with sisters Marguerite Sullivan (Montreal) and Germaine (Geri) Donohue (Toronto). Rita was the eldest original East Ender, having resided in the Worthington East area since birth. She was a past member of the Royal Order of Purple for several years and an active member of the Wednesday night "500 Card Club" for thirty-nine years. Rita was a member of the Catholic Women's' League (CWL) of the Holy Name of Jesus Parish, where she has attended since 1947, when the Church was built with her father and husband on the construction crew. Before starting her family, Rita worked several years for The North Bay Nugget when it was located in the basement of the former St. Regis Hotel in the early 1930's. Rita's laughter, wit, wisdom and joie de vivre will be sadly missed by the many people whose hearts she has touched. She has been an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Sail on Silver Girl and may you rest in peace. All our love, your family.

Visitation will take place at Martyn Funeral Home Friday, June 17, 2005, 2-4 and 7-9 pm . A celebration of her life and Mass at Holy Name of Jesus Church on Memorial Dr., will be held Saturday, June 18, 2005 at 11 am, with cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
