Daughter of the late John and Kathleen (Major) Whitney. Survived by her dear sister Barbara Stethem of Prescott. At the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 after a lengthy illness at the age of 62 years. Beloved husband of Geraldine (O'Grady) Secord. Loving father of Lorie of Brockville, Linda of Toronto and Susan (and Bob) of Ottawa. Also survived by his step-brother Jack Hobbs, his mother-in-law Mrs. Marcella O'Grady; brothers-in-law Lawrence, Robert and Chris O'Grady; sister-in-law Rosemary Paul; and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Kenneth Secord, by his mother Germaine Hobbs, his step-father Donald Hobbs, and father-in-law Gerald O'Grady.
At John's request there will be no visitation. A private Funeral Liturgy and reception will be held in the Chapel of the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville, on Monday, February 24th. Interment St. Francis Xavier cemetery. Dear father of Justine and her husband Robert Lawson and Darlene Edgell all of Brockville. Loving grandfather to Blain and his wife Heather Lawson of Toronto, Robin and her husband Daniel Garvey, Cheryl and her husband Keith Bulmer all of Nepean and Shawn Edgell of Vancouver B.C. He also leaves six great grandchildren Joseph and Jake Garvey, Garrett and Hannah Bulmer of Nepean, Corey Edgell of Vars and Taylor Michaud of Cornwall. Mr Blain is also survived by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Mary Blain, Betty and her husband Hubert Shaw, Evelyn Gifford, Vivian Gifford, Oscar Gifford, and George and his wife Donna Gifford all of Brockville. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mr Blain was predeceased by his mother Justine in 1922, his father Raoul in 1949, his wife Doris in 1989, grandson Troy in 2000 and son-in-law Carl Edgell in 1995, also by his brothers Leopold and Gerard and sisters Theresa Tardiff, Bernadette Blanchard and Jacqueline Dillabough.

Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Wednesday, February 19th, 2003. Reginal William Burton, in his 84th year. Mr. Burton is survived by his children, Cathy TeKamp (Ben) of Brockville and Rick Burton (Mary) of Ottawa. His beloved wife and partner of 53 years, Margaret Elizabeth Burton, predeceased him in 1997 as well as his youngest son, Dr. John Burton (Faith) in 1992. Mr. Burton is mourned by his granddaughter Robin TeKamp McElrea (Greg) of Brockville who provided loving care and attention to her papa Burton, and his grandson Mark of Halifax, who made papa Burton laugh until the end and also survived by granddaughters Sarah Burton of London and Jenny Burton of Toronto. Fondly remembered by his daughter-in-law Dr. Faith Silver.
At Mr. Burton's request, there will be no formal visitation or ceremony. A private family committal service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland.
