On December 25th 2002, after a brief illness, Riek's devoted husband of 52 years and our precious loving father was taken home to be with his Lord during his 79th year. Also survived by six grandchildren, and by his former wife Janet Lowe and her husband Terry of Brockville, as well as several brothers and sisters. Predeceased by an infant son William.
