passed away suddenly in Brockville on Tuesday, May 27, 2003; Richard John Reid at the age of 57 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Gail (Pittman) Reid and devoted father of Keri Reid. Richard was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Reid, and dear brother to Joseph Reid & his wife Arlene, and Anne Brennan & her husband Joseph all of Brockville. Also survived by his mother-in-law Geraldine Crippen and her husband Ross; by brothers and sisters-in-law Brian Pittman (Elaine), Donna Aimer (Brian), Marsha Pittman all of Brockville, and Brenda Craig (John) of Perth; as well as by several nieces and nephews.

It is with a great deal of sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Purvis Weir at the Ottawa Heart Institute on June 11, 2003. Roger Purvis Weir was born on July 2, 1928 to Roger Weir and Myrtle Moore. Husband of Margaret Brown, loving father of Wendy Onstein and best friend of her husband Charles of R.R.#2 Brockville, Bruce Weir of R.R.#2 Brockville and Paula Dixon and her husband Robert of Clayton, New York. Wonderful Grandpa to Brad and Carrie Onstein and Lucas Dixon. Also survived by brother-in-law Douglas Brown (Gloria), sister-in-law Marjorie Brown, and several cousins including Ruth Norton (Harold) of Prescott. Predeceased by brother-in-law Gordon Brown.

Unexpectedly at his home, Brockville. on June 12, 2003 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Ann (Phillips) Evernden. Dear brother of Ian Evernden of Lynn, Mass., Richard Evernden (Patricia) of Harrowsmith, Patricia Ashby-Wigle (Doug) of Kingston, and Norma Kirchen (Ralph) of Napanee. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Son of the late Ernest and Isabel Evernden. Harry was a proud World War II Veteran having served in the Black Watch, and was retired from External Affairs Canada.
