passed away on Friday February 26, 2010 at Park Avenue Manor, Burlington in her 103rd year. Beloved daughter of the late Percy and Alice Hull. Predeceased by her beloved husband Robert (1992) and brother Eddy (Ellen) and sisters Dorothy Flint (Ollie) and Iris France (Fred). Survived by sons Dr. Robert (Jane) of Hartington and David (Lynn) of Burlington. Grandmother of Kian (Marilyne), Morra, Lisa, Sue (Chris) and Victoria. Great-grandmother of Sandy, Logan, Verity and Ginny. Born November 6, 1907 in Toronto and spent all of her married life in St. Catharines. Ruby was a member of First United Church and the St. Catharines Golf and Country Club. A special thank you is extended to the staff of Park Avenue Manor, Burlington. It is with profound sadness that we announce Barry’s passing after a lengthy illness. At home, surrounded by his loving wife Anna (Sanvito) and his beloved sons Theodore, Thomas and Andrew. Barry went peacefully into God’s embrace. Much loved son of Norman and Carol Agnew (Marino) and son-in-law of Bruno and Nancy Sanvito. Friend and cherished brother of Brad (Dina) and loved brother-in-law of Maria Bazzo and Josie and George Stubbs. Barry was a loving uncle to Paul, Marc and Lucas Bazzo, Nicole, Matthew and Anthony Stubbs and Trajan, Samuel and Veronica Agnew. Barry was loved and will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Barry was employed at the Region of Niagara and a long-time employee of Sears. Barry was loved and respected by all. Jack was a popular and respected Principal in many Burlington schools.

Peacefully at home surrounded by love and family on Tuesday Dec. 7, 2010 at the age of 78 following an 18 month battle with cancer.
Beloved husband of Mary for 53 years. Loving father and father in law of Michael and his wife Bryn, Larry and his wife Cindy and Susan Muszak and her husband John. Cherished grandpa of Bryant, Brittany, Evan, Mackenzie, Hunter, Alex, Mitchell, Matthew, Natalie and Ryan. Wonderful great grandpa to Malin and Logan. Dear brother of Alice Powell and the late Kathleen Spahr, Jeanne Ammerman and Arthur Meyer.
Great friend of Les Upper, Ross Warriner and all of the poker guys who brought much joy to his life. Don will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews and friends.
Don was an employee of Firestone Canada for over 37 years and was also an active member of St. John United Church for many years. He was devoted to his family and a fun loving, generous, gentle man who touched the lives of many people in such positive ways. He will truly be missed by many. Special thank you to Rev. Glen Wells for his support and spiritual guidance. Cremation has taken place.

Adored father of Joanne Gilmour (Gary) and Tricia Zarycki (Paul). Much loved Papa of Jake. Loving brother of Lois Cottrell (Bill), and Joe (Debbie). Caring brother-in-law of John and Carol Bittman and Nick and Helen Salayko. Paul will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Paul was a valued past employee of International Harvester, Firestone and the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities. Paul’s greatest passion was sailing and a good Nascar Race. Our beloved mom, Dorothy Manson, has left us after her long battle with Alzheimer’s. She fought this disease for 5 years and remained loving and cheerful to her family and all those around her. We loved her so much and will miss her deeply. Beloved wife of Ronald Manson, mother of Peter Manson and his partner, Mary Ashton, Glynn Manson and his wife Frances, Wendy and her husband Leslie Nicholls, Keith Manson and his wife Cindy and Pam Kavanagh and her partner Mike Jennings, Mother-in-law to Tim Kavanagh. Dorothy was grandmother to Shannon, Brook, Nicholas, Brent, Yvonne, Jade and Cori. Great grandmother to Ethan.

Wanda Anna Herriott (née Tomczak), at her home in Stoney Creek on Monday, December 6, 2010, in her 62nd year. Beloved wife of David, cherished mother of Chadwick Christopher (Natasha) and Stacey Leah. Wanda is survived by her siblilngs George Tomczak (Patti), Kristina Tomczak, Donna Tremblay, and predeceased by her brother Stanley Dubiel, and sisters Irene Smith and Barbara Webster. Wanda will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Wanda loved to cook, loved to host family gatherings in their home, especially Christmas. She also enjoyed making memories with her family and friends at camp on Windy Lake.

Hazel passed away peacefully at home with her husband of 61 years, Doug, at her side. Hazel emigrated with her family to Canada from Ireland on the HMS Metagama when she was 3 years old and lived in Toronto. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Anne McKinstry, her sister Meave and her brother Robert. Hazel is survived by Doug, of Burlington, her son Lee, daughter-in-law Terri, and grandchildren Lindsay and David, all of Calgary, AB. Hazel loved cooking and cookbooks, flowers and gardening, music and dancing, and old movies and their stars. Though she was in failing health in her later years, Hazel continued to love life and her family as best she could. No more pain. May she rest in peace.

Peacefully at Wentworth Lodge, Dundas in her 87th year. Predeceased by loving husbands Alex Granger and Reg Cooper, eldest son David Granger and brother Jack Pilgrim Read. Survived by sons Bruce Granger (Marion) and Don Granger (Glynis) and step-sons Peter Crutcher (Mary) and John Cooper (Sue). Will be missed by her adored grandchildren Nathan, Vanessa (Craig), Jeffery, Nicole (Gyro), Teri, Jamie, Meghan and great-grandchildren Caleb, Evan and Alexa. Mary was well known as a life-long legal secretary in Hamilton beginning in the early years with John Munro and Jack Pelech and continuing over the years with their subsequent partners and associates. A devoted member of “the gang” of friends that included the Randalls, Bowrons, Hyatts, Smiths, Shields, Howells (apologies to the many missed). Born, raised and resided on the Central and East Hamilton, “Mountain”, retirement was enjoyed at St Elizabeth Village, Hamilton; Black Creek Village, Fort Erie; Village Manor, Waterdown and finally Wentworth Lodge, in Dundas. A very special thank-you to all of the caring staff at Wentworth Lodge (Lilac Lane). Cremation has taken place.
