ASQUITH, Allan Forrest – It is with deep sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of Allan on September 21, 2010 in his 89th year. Loving husband for 60 years of Gwen. Devoted father of Jayne (Greg) and Karen (late Alfred). Dear friend of Brad. Loving Granddad to M’toulin, Tannish, Kwynn, Shey, Allayne, Chenoa and the late Brodie. Dear uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 5 sisters and 2 brothers. He will be remembered for his glib personality, exaggerated golf scores, his love of fishing and a cold Guiness. There is nothing he enjoyed more than a wonderful meal and a nap. Our beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, born June 29th, 1954 in Trinidad, passed away August 29th, 2010 in Trinidad. He is survived by his parents Errol and Valerie, siblings Carol and Robin, children Steven, Stephanie, Sebastian, and Hailey, granddaughters Chloe and another soon to be born. Cherished uncle of Althea, Shannon, Chantel, Rayanne and Jayden, grand-uncle of Deyvante. Also survived by the mothers of his children, Carol and Crystal. Peacefully went to be with her Lord and Saviour, which was her heartfelt desire on Saturday August 28, 2010, in her 91st. year, born June 6, 1920. Beloved wife of Ben Paterno Sr. Loving mother of RoseMarie Johnston, Frank Paterno, Bernice (Michael) Howard and Benjamin (Lydia) Paterno. Nani will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Teresa Tarves and Jerry DiCecca. Predeceased by her parents Paula and Bellisario DiCecca and by her brothers Tony, James, Daniel and Joseph.

1946-2010
passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, August 30, 2010. He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Viva (Baby) McFarlane (late Robert), Ruth and Tom Ferns, James Johns (Joan) and extended family. He is remembered by several nieces and nephews and great niece and great nephews, his long time friend, Merlene Seroski and family and good friend Pete Murphy. He is predeceased by his mother and father, Grace and Stanley Pack. He belonged to the International Long Shoremans Association of Hamilton, Local 1879 for many years.
Thank you to all the doctors and nurses who gave him excellent care in the time of need.

Peacefully, at home, with family by his side, on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, in his 89th year.
Mac will be forever missed by his loving wife of 36 years, Ellen.
Loving father of Brenda and her husband Gary.
Cherished Grandpa to Michelle, Cheryl (Derek), Stacey, and Mark, and beloved Great Grandpa to Kyle, Jamie, Nicole, Kieran, and Connor.
He will be greatly missed by his younger sister Beverly.
Mac enjoyed many years in Hamilton, making new friends and acquaintances during his time as a car salesman. Later, he was fortunate enough to follow his dream up north to Buckhorn, where he lived until 2003, when he returned to the Hamilton area to be closer to his family.
A Celebration of Mac’s Life will be held at BAY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME – “William J. Markey Chapel”, 947 Rymal Rd E, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Saturday, September 4, 2010, at 1pm, with reception to follow. Cremation has taken place.

Dell, Mary
1930-2010
Surrounded by her loving family at her parent’s cottage, Mary passed away peacefully on Friday, September 10, 2010, three months shy of her 80th Birthday.
Mary has now joined her beloved husband, Bob, whom she has missed for twenty years.
She was the treasured and wonderful mother to Bob and his wife Theresa Dell, Dennis Dell and Lisa (Kneeland). Loving Grandma to Andrea, Bob and his fiancee Ashley, Geoff, Emilee, Amy and Geoff and Markie. Great-grandma to Peyton.
She is survived by her sister, Kay Vance, of Victoria, BC. and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Bert and Hazel Dennis, her brother Al Dennis, and her sister Lorraine Martin.
Mary achieved her goal of dying young as late as possible and gave us the gift of her wonderful and contagious laugh.
It is with heartfelt thanks to Dr. Jennifer Gillis-Doyle, Dr. Tom Kouroukis and Karen, Dr. A. Zizzo and nurse Jaime Flannigan for sharing Mary’s belief in “fun till the end” and helping us make that happen.
