Adele had Diabetes since the age of 6 years and worked hard at having a normal life in spite of it. Adele was a kind, loving and protective sister always watching over her sister and brothers. She always stood for those who had difficulty doing so for themselves. She believed in being up front, direct and honest about her feelings. Adele had the heart of a lion and cared for all things true and good. She strongly believed in family first and followed the motto, 'Families stick together and help each other out.' BOUCHARD, Ronald Conrad (1951- 2007) - The family is very sad to announce the sudden death of Ronald Bouchard, 56 years, December 2, 2007 at his home in Calgary. Loving father of Wesley Toppazzini of Whistler, B.C., and Whitney Bouchard of Calgary, AB. Cherished son of Rae (Rejeanne LaRue) and Butch (predeceased), brother Gary (Claire) and sister Lynn. Will never be forgotten by his nephew Christopher and nieces Deana, Renee, Danielle and Liane. Ron was an ironworker who began his career in Sudbury with Local 786, then later transferring his card to Local 725 in Calgary where he worked on many projects in a supervisory capacity. Ron was an accomplished pool and dart player; he was a fun loving man with many friends and will be missed. A Celebration of Life will take place in Calgary on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at the Pierson Funeral Service Ltd. In Ron's memory donations to the Heart and Stroke Association would be greatly appreciated.

CECCHINI, June Alietha (Desjardins) - Our mother joined hands with her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, December 5th, 2007. She peacefully surrendered her soul to reunite with her husband Jack, predeceased 1999, and children Thomas (1950), Donna Marie (2005) (husband Brian Sawyer) and Deborah Ann (2007) (husband Bud Schmidt). She was surrounded with love, peace and her adoring children Mary Lou Arseneau (Leo), Gary (Rose Marie), Pamela Humphrey (Richard), Tom (Barb), Carolyn Pennock (Cliff), Tracy Roy (Andy), Connie Conlon (Michael), Jackie Cecchini- McAuley (Kenneth). She was the proud grandmother to 24 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, all of whom adored her. She was blessed with many life long relatives and friends whom she cherished. Born in 1929 in Danberry, Connecticut and raised in Prescott, Ontario, she was the daughter of Melvin and Bessie Desjardins (Thorpe). She moved to Capreol when she married her husband Jack of 52 years in 1947. She devoted her whole life to her 11 children. Tiredlessly she never stopped loving, teaching, cooking and caring for them. Some of her precious and peaceful memories were spending time at the family cottage with them playing Euchre, dominos and enjoying sunlite days and nature. A very special thanks to Dr. R. Mehta for the wonderful care, respect, attention and affection he showed our mother. She always said how special he was. A special thank you, as well, to Natalie Moyle, mom's primary nurse, for her exceptional care and support day and night. The family is forever indebted. He had been the Safety Supervisor at the Copper Cliff Smelter retiring from INCO in 1982 with 34 years service. Gary had been a member of the Association to Advance Ethical Hypnosis and the International Society for Professional Hypnosis; he also had been a member of the Sudbury Militia for 17 years, life member of the Caruso Club Golden Age Club and the Sudbury Lodge #658 AF & AM. An Anglican, he belonged to St. John the Divine Church. Gary lived the lessons taught by Jesus as a Good Shepherd and Good Samaritan to all he met. He will be well remembered for his goodness and values by his loving family and many friends. Beloved husband of 62 years of Elizabeth “Betty“ (Soward) Lott of Sudbury.
