BOUWHUIS, Ynzedoores - passed away suddenly at the Royal Victoria Hospital on Tuesday February 5, 2008. Ynzedoores (Ishe) Bouwhuis in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Catherine (Tienie) Bouwhuis for 50 years. Dear mother of John Bouwhuis and wife Ann of Brechin, Frank Bouwhuis and wife Marianne of Orillia, and Joanne Bouwhuis of Raglan. Loving grandmother of Drake, Julianne and Rebecca Bouwhuis. He is survived by 2 brothers and 1 sister, and predeceased by 3 brothers in Holland. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME 30 Worsley Street (at Clapperton Street) Barrie on Friday February 8, 2008 at 1 PM. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 2 PM. Cremation. Service of Committal to follow at St. Mary's cemetery. GLENESK, Betty M. McCallister - passed away February 1, 2008 at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie. Will be sadly missed by sister Marjorie Whillans, niece Holly Spacek, grandson Benjamin Perry and many other family members. Predeceased by daughter Deborah Perry and sister Dorothy Pennal. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Service to take place at the Trinity United Church, 24 Collier Street, Barrie on Friday February 8 at 2:30p.m. Reception to follow. Roy Esten Lennox

LENNOX, Roy Esten April 16, 1924 February 2, 2008 - passed away suddenly, but peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his beloved wife Evelyn. Loving Dad of son Tom (and his wife Linda), daughter Linda (and her husband Fred), Son Robert (and his wife Margaret), son Steven (Predeceased 2003) (and his wife Marie). Proud Grandpa of Martin and Katherine Lennox, Laura (Jeremy), Paul (Carrie) and Neal Haughton, Richard and Mark Lennox, Maxx and Axton Lennox. Roy lived as a great example to family and friends of how to live with dignity, grace, kindness, generosity and love. He enjoyed with his family and friends golfing, wintering in Florida, fishing, sharing a good meal and a dry martini and watching sports events with a beer and munchies. Roy met all of his health challenges with determination and strong spirit. He was true, loyal and kind to all those who met him on the path of their lives. He leaves us here on earth to join souls he held close to his heart who left before him. We will miss Roy to our ending days. Words cannot convey our sorrow and love for the spirit of our Roy Boy. Wherever you are today, raise a glass to those you love and revel in their presence. In keeping with Roy's wishes, cremation has taken place. John Charles Moore

MOORE, John Charles - (Lifetime employee and owner of Parry Automotive) After a long and brave battle with cancer, John (Jack) passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday February 5 2008. He was in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of 58 years to Noreen. Loving father and father-in- law of Sylvia (Steve) Gapp, Jim (Barb), and Rick. Predeceased by daughter Nancy (Keith) McCutcheon. Very sadly missed by his grandchildren Tara (Garrett), Aaron, Matthew, Kyla and Megan. Proud great- grandpa of Sophia. John will be fondly remembered by his many relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME (201 Minet's Point Rd. at Yonge St.), Barrie on Thursday from 7-9 pm and on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service in the chapel at 11:00 am. Van BOLDEREN, Kerry Elaine (nee Greer) (Aug. 16, 1950 - Feb. 3, 2008) - Kerry is survived by her husband Gary, daughters Tricia and Deborah, son Greg; her parents Harold and Mary Greer; sisters Linda and Patricia (Mound); and her mother- in-law, Liz Van Swaay. She is predeceased by her son Graham. Friends are invited to celebrate Kerry's life with her family at an informal gathering on Saturday, Feb. 9th, 2008, 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at Barrie's Southshore Community Centre at 205 Lakeshore Drive (L4N 7Y9). Presentations by some of Kerry's family and friends will be made starting at 2:00pm. Dear companion of Alice Clapp. Predeceased by his first wife Hildegard. Dear father of Mike Eby (& wife Tina), of Belleville and Iris Campbell (& husband Larry) of Florida and of Sherri Mills, Brian Clapp (& wife Kim) and Patricia Clapp (& friend Josh) all of Belleville. Always fondly remembered by his grandchildren Kassandra & Austin of Belleville, Jason, Zach, Travis and Austin of Florida as well as Katlyn, Tyler, Nicholas and Destiny of Belleville. Ed is lovingly remembered by Kathy Eby (Kevin) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is survived by his siblings Eileen Eby of Cambridge, Claire Eby (Rosella) of Saskatchewan, Agnes Eby of Waterloo, Mary Lapp (Wayne) of Montana, and Hilda Crawford (Allen) of Alberta. Beloved nanny to Milan, Stefan, and Kira Nestorovski, Liam, and Aaron Maracle, and Alec and Halle Maracle. Loving sister of Bill Robinson of Belleville. Also will be greatly missed by nephew Phillip Robinson and his wife Rachel, and their son Matthew, son-in-law Charles Nestorovski of Belleville, Megan, and Phoenix of Frankford, and Ann Legault and Darren Tryan of Belleville. Our caring, loving, funny mother touched the lives of so many people we know you will all feel her loss. Her beloved pets will also deeply miss her. Dear sister of Clara Campbell of Lindsay. Laurine is predeceased by daughters Sussanne Dawson, Marjorie Sherman and many brothers & sisters. Patricia Strevett

STREVETT, Patricia - On February 2, 2008 Pat Strevett, nurse, pilot and supermom passed away after a brave battle with cancer at Trenton Memorial Hospital. Jon, her beloved husband of 52 years and devoted daughter Susie & her husband Roger were at her side. She was 76 years old. Daughter of Leslie (Bill) and Eleanor Sykes, she was born in Blackpool, England. Patricia emigrated to Canada with her loving, soon-to-be husband to marry and start a family. A great inspiration and source of comfort, she will be sadly missed by her four children Gary (Claire), Mike (Cindy), Susie (Roger) and Tim (Shirley). Patricia was a pillar of strength, lavish with praise and constant supporter of her seven grandchildren: Melissa, Bradley, Rebecca, Rachel, Taylor, Olivia and Cameron. Always a positive role model, loyal and dedicated to her family and close friends, she is survived by her sister Audrey in the UK. Being married to a pilot in the forces meant the Strevett family enjoyed living in Trenton, Exeter, Shearwater, Greenwood, Ottawa and Trenton again. For the last 35 years Patricia called Bayside home. Thanks to all the wonderful staff at Trenton Memorial Hospital for taking such great care of mum in her final times. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. A private memorial cremation service will be held Friday February 8.

Sterling Austin Clark

CLARK, Sterling Austin - passed away suddenly at London Health Sciences Center on Monday February 4, 2008; Sterling Austin Clark in his 79th year, Loving husband of Joyce (nee Graham). Father of Lillian (Alfred) Hutchins, Margaret (Roger) Freeman, and Graham (Carolyn) Clark. Brother of Aubrey (Noreen) Clark, Duane (Joyce) Clark and Carolyn (Darrell) Moran. Also missed by 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Earl. Pastor Clark was a faithful man of God who served as a missionary overseas and in several churches. Lately he edited several publications and authored a number of books. Family and friends will be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME Thursday February 7, 2008 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from the Boston Baptist Church on Friday February 8 at 2 pm. Rev. Terry Anger and Rev. John Buchwald officiating. Interment Greenwood cemetery. Loving grandmother to Andrew, Robin, Michael (Jess), Melissa, Laura, Amanda, Cassandra, and Chloe. Pre-deceased by a grandson Sean. Great grandma to Connor. ARBOUR, Lillian 'Ruth' - Ruth Arbour died peacefully at North Bay General Hospital on Sunday, February 3, 2008 in her 79th year. Ruth (Sheehy) was predeceased by her husband Joseph Elmer “Butch“ Arbour (1920-1992). She was the loving mother of David Arbour (late Linda) of Carleton Place, Rick Arbour (Liz) of Callander, Kevin Arbour (Melodie) of Uxbridge, Marilyn Kuhnberg (Ron) of Ottawa and was predeceased by her infant twin sister Helen. Ruth was the beloved grandmother of Janis Tompkins, Joe Arbour, Arbour “Melissa“ McLachlan, Jennifer Arbour, Kaitlin Arbour, Kyle Arbour, Diana Kuhnberg and Stephen Kuhnberg and great-grandmother of Aiden and Noah. She was a long-time friend and companion of Gord Whitman of North Bay. Ruth was a former clerk of both Powassan and Nipissing Municipal offices, a long-time resident of Nipissing Township, and volunteered on the Nipissing Museum, the South Shore Beavers, and the South Shore Community Centre. The Arbour family will receive visitors at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME, Powassan, today, February 6, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Fr. Grant Churcher at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Powassan on Thursday at 11 am. Cremation will follow with spring interment of ashes at Nipissing cemetery. Margaret Rubena Kiehna

KIEHNA, Margaret Rubena - Margaret Rubena Kiehna (Boyes) passed away peacefully at the Temiskaming Lodge, Haileybury ON, on Sunday, February 03, 2008 in her 99th year. She was pre- deceased by her husband Herbert of 63 years, in June 2000, and her brother Roy in 2005. She is survived by her loving daughters Doris Cole (George), North Bay, Judith Brownlee (Arnold), Englehart and Margaret Tibbles (Don), Port Perry. Rubena was the loving grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 16. Born in Toronto May 25, 1909 to James and Sophia (Buck) Boyes. The family moved to Northern Ontario when she was 3 years old. A victim of polio, she refused to let that prevent her from living her life to the fullest. She was one of the oldest survivors of that disease. Rubena will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, educator, seamstress, organist, friend and active member of the communities where she lived. The date of the service is incomplete at this time. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to McDONALD FUNERAL HOME, Englehart.
