Dorothy, born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England on February 17, 1916 passed away peacefully on July 17, 2007 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Charles Austin, who passed away in 1976. Dorothy is survived by her sons Christopher (Rhodena MacDonald) of Ottawa, Howard (Joyce Hughes) of Port Moody, BC, grandson Gregory and great-granddaughter Gabriella (Bree) of Ottawa and granddaughter Shauna (Ian St. Pierre) of Smiths Falls. Dorothy is lovingly remembered by her family and friends as an avid traveller and a true daughter of Yorkshire with a fine sense of humour and a no-nonsense approach to life.
