Peacefully in hospital surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 22, 2004 age 81years. Beloved wife of the late Bob Brookes. Cherished mother of Brenda Brookes and Dean Brookes (Janet). Dear sister of Gianna O’Connor (George) and the late Lilianna. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends and especially her beloved dogs. A private family service will be held. Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Greenhill, Steven Peter
1961-2007
Suddenly as the result of an accident on Sunday, July 29, 2007, age 45 years. Steve Greenhill of Ottawa,ON. Cherished husband of Veronica Britton. Much loved son of Helen and brother of Lorna. Predeceased by his father Peter. Also survived by his mother-in-law Christine Langlois, sister-in-law Monica McCool and nieces Ashley and Bryony. He will also be missed by family in Scotland, Europe and Australia and by his many friends in Ontario and Alberta. Principal at Advanced ERP Solutions, he will be remembered by his many clients and colleagues in the Sage Accpac community. Friends may call at the Rideau Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars (East of Hwy 416) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

(1948 – 2004) Passed peacefully away in hospital on Monday, August 23, 2004. Cherished husband of Catherine (Kitty); beloved father of Lisa and David. Missed by his canine companion, Nyles. Also survived by his father Ralph and his sisters Susan and JoAnne. Predeceased by his mother Joan. Fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law Peggy and Dolores. A service to celebrate the life of the late Randy Carter will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd. (between Baseline Rd., and Bayshore Dr.) Nepean on Saturday, August 28th at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception. Private Burial. Perry, Robert M. "Bob"
Unexpectedly, following a brief illness, on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the General Hospital at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Jean (MacPherson). Loving father of Brent, Kathy Jordan (Peter) and Patti-Jean Perry. Dear Grandfather of Rod and Duncan Perry, Sarah and Laura Jordan, and Brittany, Tristan Robert and Toren Waitman. Predeceased by parents John and Marybelle Perry, grandson Robert Owen Perry, brothers and sisters Elwood, Winston, Norma, Dorothy, James and Bertha. Bob’s legacy is his honesty and steadfast love and pride for his family. We find comfort in knowing that he has now rejoined his soul-mate, Jean. Bob and his trademark customized Tilley hat will be missed by us all. Friends may attend a Masonic Service, immediately followed by the Funeral Service, at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) in the Chapel on Monday, July 16th at 11:00 am, followed by a reception in the Maple Terrace Room. Interment Bellevue cemetery , Aylmer. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.

Cherished mother of Darren (Kelly) of Montrose, MI, Brett (Stephanie) of Pembroke, ON and “the girl” Stephanie Leishman (Andrew Smith) of Kanata, ON. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Kaylen and Evan of Montrose, MI, and Meredith, Ryan and Adam of Pembroke, ON. Fond sister of Edith Irvine of Brockville, ON and John Stacey (Madeleine) of Cherry Valley, ON. Also survived by 1 niece and 4 nephews in Calgary and Cherry Valley. Daughter-in-law of Rita Leishman and sister-in-law of Patricia Leishman. Cousin of Jack Anthony (Elaine) of Kemptville, ON. She also leaves behind her beloved cats, Smudge and Sherman. Suddenly and peacefully at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of Patricia Rose Kelly. Loving father of Charles Gilbert, Francis Joseph (deceased) and Jane Cecelia. Father-in-law of Louis Renaud. Much loved grandfather of Sonia and Adam. He was a lovable person, kind and helpful to anyone in any way. Cameron, James "Mac"
Date of Death: October 14, 2004
Cameron, James McKay (Mack) "Mack" passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 14, 2004 at the Ottawa General Hospital at the age of 83. He was born April 3, 1921 to Luella Mae (McKay) and James Robert Cameron in Cornwall, ON. Survived by his high school sweetheart wife Betty McIntosh and daughter Heather Jean Cameron Pettipas, brother Donald Cameron and sister Jean Adams, grandchildren James McKay (Erica), and Meghan Pettipas (Ian). Also great granddaughters Kea and Tiegan McKay and many nieces and nephews. Mack attended Cornwall Public and Collegiate Institute. He enlisted with S.D. & G. Hldrs. on its first day of mobilization as drummer in the pipe band, proceeding overseas in July 1941. In January 1944 he was recommended for a commission, and retuned to Brockville ON for the O.C.T. course. After graduation, he married Betty McIntosh on June 10. He was posted to the West Coast and in April 1945 proceeded back overseas. He returned to civil life in November of the same year. In 1947 he purchased a garage and Sunoco service station at Pitt & Fourth Street, Cornwall, and continued to operate it until 1968. In 1960, in partnership with this brother-in-law Stan Fennell, he established the Riverside Launderette chain with stores in Kingston, Morrisburg and Cornwall. The sport of curling interested him, and he was one of the first members of the new club in 1948. He entered the official administration of the sport and served in many capacities. He was past president of the Cornwall Curling Club, life member of Cornwall Sport's Hall of Fame, life member of the Royal Caledonia Curling Club, Emeritus Member of the Governor General's Curling Club, past President of the Ottawa Valley Curling Association, and served as Chairman for the 1984 Uniroyal Junior World Curling Championship. He also served a term as the Director of the Ontario Curling Association. In 1999 he was presented with his 50-year membership in Corinthian Lodge #669 AF & AM. He was a past Master of the Lodge and a charter member. He was also a charter member of the Cornwall Seaway Speakers Club, past Chairman and treasurer of St. John's Presbyterian Church. For many years he was an avid golfer, past member of the Cornwall Club, and the Kiwanis Club of Cornwall. Mack was an Honourary member of the Officers Mess SD&G Hldrs., and the first Battn. Association of the Regiment. Friends and family may call at the Garden Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Tuesday from 2 – 4 p.m. Donations in Mack’s memory can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Sydenham, Jean Anderson Smillie M.A.
On Thursday, August 16th, 2007 at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Michael Sydenham. Loving mother of Anne (died 1999) and Jennifer. Grandfather of Meghan Sylvester, Shannon Evans and Conor Sylvester (died 1999). A Memorial Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 120 Lisgar Street, Ottawa on Friday, August 24th, 2007 at 1 p.m. For those wishing, a donation to either the CNIB or the Nepean Seniors Home Support would be appreciated.

Bull, Eileen Vera
Date of Death: September 10, 2004
(nee Graham) Of North Gower, Ontario. passed away on Friday September 10, 2004 while recovering from heart surgery. Born in Port Arthur, Ontario, July 15, 1927, she married Robert W. Bull of Fort William, Ontario, a Lieutenant in the Canadian Armed Forces, who predeceased her in 1988. She is survived by her four children, Rob (Nan), Susan (Jack Moloughney), Carol (Garth Teskey) and James, grandchildren Andrea, Robbie, David, Bryan, Tatiana, Alison and Colin, and relatives in Northern Ireland. Eileen was loved and cherished by her family and will be missed by all. She spent part of her childhood in Northern Ireland, graduated from the University of Manitoba, starting her career as a dietitian at McKellar Hospital in Thunder Bay, Ontario in 1953. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Doctors and staff of the Heart Institute for their excellent care. passed away peacefully in the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre after a long battle with cancer on Friday August 31st, 2007 at the age of 47. predeceased by her mother Hazel Estelle Buck (Miller). Survived by Bob Buck (Father), Wayne, Lisa (Trodden) Gordon and Natasha (Weeks). Special Thanks to all the doctors, nurses and care-givers for their loving care of Linoa during her six year battle and our love to all her dear friends at the “Y” and the “Well” who enriched her life so much. Loving mother of Gary Gallinger (Randyene), and Debbie (the late Brian Levesque) and stepmother of Arnold Gallinger (Connie), Gordon Gallinger (Cathy), Gladys (Conrad Bourguignon) and the late Don Gallinger. Dear grandmother of Tina, Sherry, Tyler and Courtney Gallinger, and Derek, Kevin and Vicki Levesque, and great grandmother of Zayne Leary. She is survived by her brothers Robert and Barry (Diane) Spratt, and by her sisters Francis (Gerry Jones), Helen (John Beauvais), Donna (Richard Robillard), Eileen Leonard and Cathy Britton. Predeceased by her brother Tommy and her mother Dorothy Spratt. Findlay: John “Jack” (of Kinburn, Ontario) It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Jack at the Arnprior Hospital on Monday September 27 2004. Jack was predeceased by his loving wife Georgina “Jean”. He was a wonderful father to Lynda (Bernie Parent), Keltie (Michael Leclair), Alison (Jeff Bahm) and Laurie (Ted O’Brien). A kind and loving grandfather to Patrick and Matthew Parent and Rebekka, Linden and Mackenzie Bahm. Jack was the eldest brother of Clarence (Elaine), Don (Joan), Gayle Utman, Betty Saunders and Orma (Doug Barclay). Predeceased by his brothers Mac (Joan deceased) and Roy (Jessie). Also predeceased by his brothers-in law Norm Utman, Mac Saunders and Keith and Lyndon MacIntosh. Fondly remembered by Milton MacIntosh (Shirley).
