Unexpectedly in hospital on Friday June 20, 2008 at the age of 73. Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth “Tibbie” and George Attwell. Jim was the dear brother of Betty Dartnell, Clifford Attwell (Arlene), and Barbara Wilson (John). He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will be held at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Rd, (at Roosevelt Ave), on Thursday June 26th from 11:00 a.m. until time of memorial service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment Beechwood cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.

On Saturday June 21, 2008, surviving 7+ years of cancer, Pat passed away with her daughters at her side. Beloved wife and best friend to Ken Riddell (deceased 2003) and former wife of Ed Prudhomme (deceased 1975). Very proud mother of twin daughters Kelly Prudhomme and Tammy Leblanc (Dwain). Loving and caring grandmother (Nan) of Jake and Charlotte Leblanc and sister to Jim Stephens (Carol Paauw). Cherished Poppa of Cody and Shannon. Dear brother of Lillian, Irene, Ethel (Harvey), Fay (Ray), Isobel, Florence (Wilson), Margaret (Mike), and Laura (Dwayne). Norm is also survived by his mother-in-law Beatrice, brothers-in-law Gary and Ian (Nancy), and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by the “Dirty Dozen”, his Camping Buddies, as well as several friends and neighbours. Norm was predeceased by parents Maithel and Ab Taylor, brother George, sister Marjorie, father-in-law Peter, and brothers-in-law Ed, Eldon and Peter. Beloved grandfather of Malina, Ethan, Nadija and Linden. He will be missed by his brother Jarek (Brno, CZ), his sister-in-law Draha Kaspar and by his nieces and nephews. He was a retired veterinarian pathologist from Agriculture Canada, an avid downhill skier and cyclist, he lived life to the fullest.
