Perry was a force in our lives who is leaving too soon. He was a patriot, a proud Canadian who served his country for 26 years. He will be missed by his many friends and family. On Friday, January 9th, 2009, God took one of His most precious jewels home to be with Jesus. He was surrounded in hospital by loving family members after a short struggle with pulmonary fibrosis and heart failure. He was greatly loved and cherished by his dear wife Evelyn (nee Fitzpatrick) and his devoted daughter Marilyn. He is also survived by one sister Marjorie Manary, sisters and brothers-in-law and several nieces and nephews. Wilf was the most wonderful person you could ever meet, intelligent, compassionate, loving and always generous and caring to all. He will be greatly missed, but we grieve with hope knowing that we one day will see him again in heaven’s portals, a day which we will always be longing for.
