Retired Local Registrar of the Supreme Court of Ontario and Clerk of the County District Court. Past Grand Master of the Masonic Order, Grand Lodge of Canada, Province of Ontario 1981-1983, Mother Lodge, Otter Lodge #504 A.F. and A.M., Lombardy and affiliate member of Temple Lodge #665 A.F. and A.M., Ottawa, honorary member of numerous Lodges in both Ontario and the United States.
