Co-Founder of BouClair House of Fabrics and Freda's Sewing Services Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Friend Peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, October 28, 2007. Freda lived, laughed and loved throughout her life. She spent her life giving to others. She was loved and cherished by many and will be deeply missed by her husband of 58 years, Matt, by her children Paulette and Cheryl, by her son-in-law Tim and by her precious grandchildren Natalie and Gordon Urquhart. In her lifetime, Freda affected the lives of many. She was passionate about making a difference; she contributed to social programs around the world; she was a leader, a teacher, an entrepreneur, a philanthropist and an inspiration. Many thanks to her friends who have supported her throughout her journey and to the medical staff who provided care above and beyond. Thanks to Dr. Kuntz, Dr. Fong Kee Fong and the phenomenal staff on the 8th floor at the General, the palliative team at Elisabeth Bruyere and to the home care team at Para Med, especially Huda.
