Recreation Director of Hillsdale Manor for many years, chaired giant Christmas parties for seniors, Board Member Parkview Place, active with many seniors' organizations in Oshawa, Honorary Member Kinettes. At Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday, January 22, 2001. Kay MacDonald, in her 52nd year. Beloved daughter of the late Jack Charles and Mildred Maye MacDonald. Sadly missed by her sister and brother: Eleanor Maye Nicholas and her husband Nick of Mitchell's Corners, and Jack MacDonald and his wife Eleanor of Fenelon Falls. Predeceased by her sister Mildred MacDonald. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Scott and his wife Tracy Nicholas, Doug and Lisa Ash, David and Deanna Wright, and Sonja MacDonald. Dear great aunt to Michael, Ashley, Brandon and Nichola Nicholas, and Breanne and Aaron Wright. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, with Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday, January 26th at 1:00 p.m. Interment Oshawa Union cemetery. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.

PETROSKY, Eileen Rose -
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Monday January 22, 2001, in her 66th year. Beloved wife of Frank Petrosky Sr. Dear mother of John (predeceased), Frank Jr. and his wife Dina and daughter Ruth Petrosky all of Oshawa. Dear sister of George Broome of Whitby and sister-in-law Edith Broome of Oshawa. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren John, Dylan, Dean, Jim, Nancy and great grandchildren Joshua, Jimmy and Kyle. Eileen will be sadly missed by her many friends. Son-in-law of Noella Thompson, brother-in-law of Gwen and Graham, John and Faye, Carl, Frances and Rolland, Peter and Linda, and David and Karen. Mourned by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Loved mother of Karen and her husband Peter Fullerton of Whitby, Sheila O'Reilly and her husband Stephen Rayment of Toronto, Sean O'Reilly and his wife Mary of Greenwood, NS, Lynn and her husband Masanori Fujino of Japan, and Laurie and her husband Andrew Forsyth of Toronto. Loving grandmother of Kailyn, Amanda, Christina, Reilly, Kendall, Hillary, Maiah, Adam, Bronwyn, Owen, Clare, and Devlin. Helen was predeceased by her grandson Matthew, her brother Gerard, and her parents Beatrice and James McIntomny.
