Peacefully, at Fairview Lodge, Whitby, on Friday, January 19, 2001 in her 81st year. Annie, beloved wife of the late Herbert William (Bert). Loving mother of Maureen (Mrs. Harvey Kellett) of Langley, B.C., Sheila Dauncey of Whitby, and Beryl (Mrs. Doug McLean) of Whitby. Dear grandmother of Sheila (Mrs. Larry Asselin) of Whitby, Rob McLean and his wife Heather of Oshawa, Darryl Kellett, Kim Donavan, and great-grandmother of Kyle Donavan (all of Richmond B.C.). The family will receive friends at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby (905-668-3410) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2001. Mass of the Christian Burial to be held at St. John the Evangelist Church (903 Giffard Street, Whitby) on Tuesday, January 23, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. Interment , Mount Lawn cemetery. In memoriam, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or to the Lakeridge Health Whitby Dialysis Unit.

Peacefully at Ballycliffe Nursing Home, Ajax on Friday January 19, 2001 in her 69th year. Florence, beloved wife of the late Carman Hamilton. Loving mother of Marie Hamilton. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Linda Robichaud, and Glenn Legge, and great-grandchildren Bradley, and Shania Robichaud. Dear sister of Marie Candler, and Don Babcock. General Motors employee with 31 Years of Service, Veteran of World War 11. Peacefully at Extendicare Health Centre on Friday January 19, 2001. Ludvik Zak, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Mary. Dear father of Ann Mueller & her husband Kevin of Whitby and Maria Zak of Oshawa. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Paulina & Sophie Mueller. Dear brother of Paulina Zak and Augustine Zak. Predeceased by his sisters Helena Zak and Johanna Lofaj. Survived by his nieces & nephews Maria, Martha, Jana, William and Ladislav, all of Slovakia. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East Oshawa with Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church on Monday January 22nd at 1 pm. (Flori's Carpentry). Peacefully after a short illness on Thursday, January 18, 2001 at his home, at age 68. Flori Goris of Port Perry. Loving husband of Donna (nee Cox). Loved father of Linda of Oshawa, Richard of Thornhill, Ronald and his wife Tracy of Burlington, Florimond Jr. living at home, Catherine and her husband Bob of Oshawa, Joseph and his wife Janet of Nestleton, and Shelly of Oshawa. Flori will be missed by his 15 grandchildren; his brother's Florent and his wife Vera of Langton, Marcel and his wife Georgette of California, Leo of Delhi, and his sister Julia and her friend Andy McLaughlin of Delhi. He was predeceased by his parents Frank (March 11, 1976) and Martha (January 31, 1984) Goris. Relatives and friends will be received at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott- Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (985-2171) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Father Bernard Canning of Immaculate Conception Parish in Port Perry will celebrate a Funeral Mass in the Chapel on Monday, January 22nd at 11 am. Interment Resurrection cemetery , Whitby. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Charity of your choice.

At Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on January 18, 2001. Fred Marshall in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Eva Humphries. Dear father of Judy and her husband Ken Chamberlain. Loving grandfather of Michael Fougere and Damon Cole. Great grandfather of Kayla, Wayne, Dylan and Hailey. GIBSON, Ann -
(Longtime member of the Oshawa Golf Club). Formerly of Ballycliffe Lodge Nursing Home, died at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa, on Wednesday, January 17, 2001 Born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, April 25, 1912. Daughter of the late Alexander and Ann (nee Wright) Ferguson. Beloved wife of the late Fredriuk Gibson (d.1 973), Lew McConkey (d.1969) and Rusty Robinson (d.1960). Predeceased by her siblings, Donald, Alexander Jr., Gordon and Marion. Ann graduated as a registered nurse from City Hospital in Saskatoon. She worked at Harper Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, where she met Rusty Robinson. Following Rusty's death, Ann became a private nurse to Col. R. S. (Sam) McLaughlin. The job entailed travel to exciting locales which Ann enjoyed immensely. Ann met and married Lew McConkey, who worked with the Oshawa Board of Trade. Following Lew’s death, Ann married Fred Gibson. Ann shared with Fred an abiding passion for golf. They were early members of the Oshawa Golf and Country Club. They wintered in Florida where they also golfed avidly. After Fred’s death, Ann enjoyed a busy lifestyle, driving regularly from Oshawa to Fort Myers, Fla., with stopovers in Ann Arbor, Mich. and Atlanta, Georgia to visit family. Ann enjoyed people and had a tremendous sense of fun. She leaves behind a stepdaughter, Judy Abernethy; her ‘Gr-Ann’ kids, Merrilee, David, John, Tom and Rick; and her nieces and nephews of whom David Cook, of Saskatoon, was especially supportive during Ann’s declining years. There will be a graveside service at Oshawa Union cemetery , April 25, 2001. Donations in memory of Ann to a favourite Charity may be made through McIntosh-Anderson Funeral Home Ltd., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (433-5558).

MULDER Jack (Jacob) -
1928 - 2001 (Retired employee Ontario Ministry of Agriculture; 100 plus donor Canadian Red Cross Society) Peacefully, passed away at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa on Wednesday, January 17, 2001, Jack, in his 73rd year. Dearly beloved husband of Toni Mulder Smit for 49 years. Father of Pam and husband Bill Ellis of Edmonton, Judy and husband Terry Smart of Port Perry and Ron and wife Debbie of Whitby. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Mike and Ken Ellis; Matthew and Adam Smart; Kassie, Niki and Abbie Mulder. Survived by brothers Henk and Arend Mulder, sister Saakje, all of Holland and sister Janke of New Zealand. Predeceased by parents Roelof and Frederika Mulder and brothers Ed and Harry, of Ottawa. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at McIntosh-Anderson Funeral Home Ltd., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (433-5558) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Sunday, January 21, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation. ROBERTSON, John Edward (Jackie) -
passed away peacefully, at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa on Wednesday, January 17, 2001, in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Grace (Doyle) for 34 years. Loving father of two sons, Darryl and his fianceé Gail of Aurora and Glenn of Oshawa. He will be sadly missed by his three brothers, Earl and wife Dianne of Dartmouth. N.S., Keats and wife Patricia of Penetanguishene, Ont., Billy and Caren of Brampton, Ont., two uncles, John H. Stone and wife Betty of Cape Breton Island and Ernest Robertson and wife Jean of Halifax, N.S. He will be forever in the hearts of his many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the McIntosh-Anderson Funeral Home Ltd., 152 King St. E, Oshawa (905 433-5558 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Longtime resident of Greenbank, peacefully on Wednesday January 17, 2001 at Hillsdale Manor, Oshawa in her 90th year. Iva, loved wife of the late Leroy Till. Beloved mother of Joanne Goode-Beach and her husband Fraser Beach, and Donald Till. Loving grandmother of Deborah and Gordon Reid, Suzanne and Ed Robertson, Stephen Goode. Great grandmother of Christopher and Carol Reid, Robert Reid, Raymond and Shannon Reid, Tayna and Paul McLaughlin, Ty Robertson, Carly Robertson, Adam Goode, and Matthew Goode. Great great grandmother of Cydney. Dear sister of Thelma Ormiston, Margaret Stewart, and Henry Mills. Iva was a special "Gran" to her family and will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all.
