Suddenly at York Central Hospital on Sunday, February 25, 2001, Louisa, in her 81sf year. Beloved wife of Everett. Loving mother of Eunice Flewell. Dear grandmother of Randy, Jeff and Janet and her husband Jason Ringwood. Granny Lou to Samantha. Sister of Levi, Mary, Ruby, Jim, Bill and the late Hazel, Perce, Stanley, George, Jack, Peggy and Harry. Friends may call at the O’Neill Funeral Home, 6324 Main Street, Sfouffville (905-642-2855) Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service in the chapel Wednesday 1 p.m. Interment Claremont cemetery , In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

McDERMID, Agnes -
passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 25th, 2001 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late Thomas. Loving mother of Jane and her husband Philip Lovering and Jim McDermid. Lovingly remembered by grandson Jamie McDermid, her twin sister Jane Higgins and family and daughter-in-law June. MORRISON, Brian J. -
At the age of 43 years. passed away February 25, 2001, as he lived, peacefully and courageously with his beloved, devoted and loving wife at his side, as always. Adored and incredible son-in-law of Jennifer and Victoria. Much loved son-in-law of Nana and Grandad Brindle. Loved and admired brother-in-law of Ian, Lorrie, Neil, Stuart and Marcie. Respected son of the late Dr. Irene S. Morrison. Special person and friend to many who knew him and admired him, from his pals at General Motors to all the people in the education field he dealt with in the E.D.G.E. Program and many long frienships he enjoyed. Love by his pets Monty and Max. The family will receive friends at McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Rd., Ajax (Pickering Village), 905-428-8488, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2001. Funeral service to take place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (35 Church St. North, Ajax) on Thursday, March 1, 2001 at 1 p.m. Interment Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens, with reception to follow. In lieu of concerns, and should you so desire, donations would be greatly appreciated to the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation (Attn. C.N.S. Site Group) or the Ajax-Pickering Health Centre Foundation in memory of Brian.

POWER, Beatrice (Betty) (nee Clark) -
passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Windsor on February 25th, 2001. Loving Mother of Brenda & Jim Williams of Windsor, Mary Power, daughter-in law Shirley Power, both of Oshawa, Barbara and her husband John Holmes of Windsor, Catherine and Michel Rancourt of Barrie and Tina Power of Sarnia. Much loved Grandmother of Andy, Ian, Kevin, Phillip, Jennifer, James, Warren, Lauren, Meghan, Rachel, John, Andrew, Noelle, Justin, Jean-Paul, Jeffrey, Thomas and Stephen, and Great Grandmother of Tyler and Spencer. Predeceased by son James, brother Stan, and sisters Doris and Gladys. Survived by sister Eva Kennedy of Burlington. Betty was an active member of the CWL for many years and loved singing in the Church Choir. She always had a kind word and a smile for everyone. Visiting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King St. E. Oshawa on Wednesday February 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday March 1st at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gregory's Church. Memorial tributes in Betty's memory could be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Dear aunt of Donald and Marion Jose, Francis and Erlo Jose, Doug and Doreen Jose, Carlos and Bev Cryderman, David and Linda Cryderman, James Cryderman, Ken and Lillian Cryderman, Esther and Paul Robinson, Ralph and Mickey Cryderman and the late Ann Smith. Lovingly remembered by her great-nieces and nephews. At the Community Nursing Home, Pickering on February 23, 2001 at the age of 94. Frank Furls, predeceased by his wife Teresa. Survived by daughter Marilyn Carriere. Following Frank’s wishes cremation has taken place and he has now joined his wife Teresa at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Together forever.
