QUICKMIRE, Derek Vincent -
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Tuesday February 20, 2001 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Gray). Dear Dad of Bryan (Betty), June (Alex), and Ian (Amy). Cherished Grandad of Jonathan, Nate and Greg. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. A private service was held at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby (905-668-3410) on Friday February 23, 2001 followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, Derek wanted donations to be made in his name to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation 7100 Woodbine Avenue, Suite 311, Markham, ON, L3R5J2.

LOW, Mildred -
(Predeceased by husband Gerry 1989). After a courageous battle on February 19, 2001 at Lakeridge Health Centre, Uxbridge. Survived by her friend Bob, children Ronald (Shirley) of Hamilton, Beverley of Pembroke, Dennis (Phyllis) of Killaloe, Randy (Rose) of Ajax, Marion (Fred) of Uxbridge, Jeff (Nancy) of Woodvilie, twelve grandchildren Kevin, Scott, Stephen, Kelly, Chris, Jeff, Shawn, Caitlin, Crystal, Jason, Amanda, Hayley, one great- grandchild, brothers Arnold (Ernie) of Kingston and Donald of Pembroke. Resting at the Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge on Thursday, February 22nd, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Friday in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Uxbridge Hospice.

Suddenly as the result of a traffic accident on Monday, February 19th, 2001. In her 21st year. Beloved daughter of Valerie and Bert Noel. Loving granddaughter of Bert and Mildred Noel of Newfoundland and Beulah Ralph and the late Ambrose of Newfoundland. Dearly loved niece of Dennis Ralph, Shirley Dawe, Carrie Rick, William Ralph, Ann Parsons, George and Keith Noel. Susan will be always remembered by her cousins. Walter was the beloved husband and best friend for 55 years to Louise. Loving father of Walter and his wife Nancy, Wim and his wife Starr, John, Peter and his wife Debbie. Dear grandfather of Andrew, Kristy and her husband Chris Davey, Christopher, Amy, Robert and Nicole. Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters and their families and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and families of Canada and the Netherlands. FORD, Taylor Bain -
October 19, 1981 - February 17, 2001. Taylor died tragically on a deadly stretch of Hwy. 12, while on his way to help a friend. He leaves his parents Pamela and David Gartner and Cindy and Colin Ford, sister Alea, brothers Kyle and Aaron, Richard, Jason and Blake, and his love Erin. The voids left too many lives to mention, span Aunts and Uncles, Grandparents, Cousins and friends. The joy of seeing a beautiful baby mature into a handsome and capable young adult was cut short as he was on the cusp of becoming a great man that we all would have been proud to know and love.
