At Lakeridge Health Centre Oshawa on Feb. 9th, 2001 after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Gail. Loving father of Robyn of Oshawa, Jeffery of Grande Prairie Alberta, Karen Paats (Terry) of Courtice, Leigh of Oshawa. Dear grandpa of Lindsay and Cody. Dear son of Bertha Morrissey (Peterborough), and the late George Calbery. Dearest brother of Jean Langevin (Raymond), Markstay, Joan Calbery, Peterborough, Harold Calbery (Dora), Oshawa, Ada Little (Frank), Peterborough. Special and dear uncle of Bill Coles (Germaine), Fraserville. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Memorial service Wed. Feb. 14th, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Pentecostal Church, 900 King St. East Oshawa (Back Entrance), 2nd floor, Sanctuary Level.

FORD, Rosemary (nee Jackman) -
Peacefully with her family on Friday, February 9, 2001, at Ajax Pickering Hospital, beloved mother of Ed and Kim; Peter; Rosemarie and James; and Gerard. Loving grandmother of seven grandchildren. Dear sister of Doreen, Lilian, David and Milton. Special thanks to her beloved best friend Janet and her former husband Ed Ford. Friends may call at Oshawa Funeral Service "Thornton Chapel", 847 King St. West, Oshawa ( 905-721-1234), for visitation on Monday, February 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at St. Greogory the Great, (corner of Simcoe and Adelaide) at 10:30 a.m. Cremation. At Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday February 9th, 2001. Beloved wife of Lloyd Glass for 59 years. Dear mother of Ron Glass. Loving grandmother of Mike. Great-grandmother of Marshall & Madison. Dear sister of Charlie Byers of Port Hope. Lovingly remembered by her nieces & nephews. Visitation will take place at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division Street N. Bowmanville Sunday from 12 noon. Funeral Service 1:30 pm Sunday in our Chapel. Spring interment Orono cemetery. Donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or to The Salvation Army.

GRAHAM, Jack Dalton -
at the Northumberland Health Care Centre, Cobourg on Friday, February 9, 2001 in his 81st. year. Jack was a World War II Veteran and an active member of the Canadian Legion Branch 30, Port Hope. Retired from General Motors after 40 years of service. He is survived by his son Scott and his wife Karen. Beloved grandfather of Scott Jr. and Carlie. Dear brother of Joan Smith and her husband Hugh all of Oshawa. Predeceased by daughter Susan and his brother Maxwell and sister Doreen. As per Jack's wishes no service is to be held- Cremation.

JACKSON, Allan -
passed away on Friday, February 9, 2001 as he would have wished, while doing his favourite pastime, cycling. Al, forever cycling into his 87th year. Beloved husband of 50 years to Nan. Loving and devoted dad of Wayne and his wife Elaine. Survived by his sister Audrey and her husband Jack Hutchison, and their family. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax (Pickering Village) 905-428-8488, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday, February 14, 2001. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 12 noon. Cremation. Should family and friends so desire, donations to Ajax and Pickering Health Centre would be greatly appreciated.

(Former member of the Eastern Star, Perth). At Scarborough Grace Hospital on Friday, February 9, 2001. Isobel Jeffers (nee Abbott), in her 87th year, beloved wife of the late William Jeffers. Dear mother of William Jeffers and his wife Carol Anne. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Bill and his wife Jacqui, Dan and his wife Gina, Jennifer and her husband Michael Savel, James and his friend Angela and her great-grandchildren Emily and Bryan Jeffers, Molly, Maggie and Grace Jeffers, Nicholas, Katie and Lucas Savel and the late Audrey Jeffers. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Isobel will be sadly missed by her nephews, nieces and friends. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with Funeral Service in the Chapel on Sunday, February 11 at 3 p.m. Interment Elmwood cemetery , Perth, in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday 1-3 p.m.

McGUIRE, Margaret Anne -
At Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Friday, February 9th, 2001, Margaret Anne McGuire age 73 years (of Wilmot Creek, Newcastle). Beloved daughter of the late Lena and Percy McGuire. Dear friend of Betty Henderson of Newcastle. At Marg's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation. Donations may be made to The Ontario Humane Society in Marg's memory. Arrangements were entrusted to THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N., Bowmanville (905-623-5668).

McILVEEN, Charles James (Jim) -
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a dear husband and father on Friday, February 9th, 2001 at the Lakeridge Health Centre, Uxbridge. In his 74th year. Charles, beloved husband of Dorothy. Dear father of Derek, and his wife Bonnie, David, and his wife Judy, Sandra, and her husband Rick. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Colin, Dylan, Sarah and Shelby. Survived by his sister Doris, and her husband Andy. Resting at the LOW & LOW FUNERAL HOME, UXBRIDGE, 23 Main Street South, on Monday, February 12, 2001 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A private family service will be held on Tuesday. In Jim's Memory, donations may be made to the Leukemia Research Fund of Canada.

Proud grandmother of her precious Stephanie. Loving daughter of the late Alice Caines. Alice will be sadly missed by her brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. WREN, Edward George (Ted) -
Peacefully at Heritage Green Retirement Home, Stoney Creek, Ontario on Friday, February 9th, 2001 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Kathleen and predeceased by wife Nora Ormerod. Loving father of Barbara Eismont (Fred), Oshawa; Audrey Boutcher, Hamilton; Shirley Beckon, Aylmer; George (Dana), Port Dover; Richard (Jackie), Hagersville. Stepfather of Edward Playfair (Gwen), Caledonia; and Norman Playfair (Marilyn), Stoney Creek. Will be missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A family memorial service will be held following cremation. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be very much appreciated by Ted's family.

Loving father of Elizabeth and her husband Jeffrey Earnshaw, Kathleen and her husband Frank Flasch, and Ian and his wife June. Fondly remembered by his ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. VANCE, Albina Gertrude Grace -
passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 8, 2001 at the Lakeridge Health Centre, Oshawa, in her 85th year. Grace will be sadly missed by residents and staff of Thorntonview Nursing Home especially her roommate Ann. Mrs. Vance is survived by her sister Elizabeth Campbell, brother Harold Gascoigne and fondly remembered by dear friends Marie and Ted Arsenault. Mrs. Vance will be resting at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby (905-668-3410) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Monday at 2:30 p.m. with Tim Campbell officiating. A private burial at Greenwood cemetery , Orangeville, Ontario.
