At Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday April 2, 2001. Merv Cryderman in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Grace Cryderman. Dear father of Joan and Arthur Brook, Grant and Charlotte, and Glen and Barb Cryderman. Loving grandfather of Pamela, Jeffrey, Andrea and Adam, and proud great grandfather of Abigail. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with complete funeral service in the Chapel on Thursday April 5, 2001 at 2:30p.m. Cremation MOUNT LAWN Crematorium. Memorial donations to the Lakeridge Health Cancer Clinic would be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday 7-9p.m.

(Retired Carpentry Shop Foreman, York Region Board of Education) Peacefully at Markhaven Home, Markham on April 2, 2001, in his 88th year. Dear husband of Pearl (Gryschuk) of Stouffville and Richmond Hill. Beloved father of Elizabeth, Shirley, Ernie, Jack, James and the late infant son Julian. "Gidi" will be missed by his family, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Son of the late Dmytro and Tillie Dubkowski. Brother of Ann Zerebeski, Irene Wintonyk and the late Peter, Mike and Nick. A private memorial service was held. Al, beloved husband and best friend of Dorothy "Clancy" (nee De Mille) of Wilmot Creek. Much loved father of Marilyn Rowlinson and her husband Fred of Sault Ste. Marie, Barry and his wife Rosalyn of Bowmanville, Brenda and her partner Leo of Gananoque, and Ross and his wife Marlo of Brampton. Loving Grandpa of 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Loved by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and all his friends. Visitation at the Newcastle Funeral Home, 386 Mill St. South from 12 noon on Tuesday, April 3, until the service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home, with reverend David Chisling, BA, BEd, MDiv, officiating. Cremation. Donations to the Arthritis Society or Bowmanville Memorial Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care, would be appreciated by Al's family.

MORRIS, Margaret Clare (nee Churchill) -
At the age of 79, peacefully at her home, in Pickering, ON, Sunday, April 1, 2001, surrounded by family and friends. Born in Windsor, NS, February 13, 1922, to parents Norman Winston Churchill and Florence Churchill Shand. Mrs Morris spent her married years as an RCMP wife, stationed in High Prairie, East Coulee, Drumheller, Peace River, Banff and Edmonton, AB., before retiring to Bracebridge, ON. At the age of 53, she embarked on a new life in Toronto as assistant production manager at The Financial Post. Mother of four, world traveller, adventurer, Edgewater Florida retiree, grand story teller, master shopper, earring collector extraordinaire, lover of musical song, the Royal Family, and angel hair premavera with sun dried tomatoes. Coronation Street devotee to the end.Loved and cherished forever by four fortunate daughters: Michele, Melanie, Mallory and Melissa and three equally favorite sons-in-law, Donald Jones, Russell Shermack and John Sartz. Granny Margaret to Paul, Brian, Nick, Kyre, Shand, Palmer, Aleksa and Kirsten; sister to Patricia Kellar and Virginia Smith, and their husbands Jim and Jack, and to brother Frederick Churchill and his wife Mechthild. The family extends warm thanks to palliative care nurses Cathy and Trudy, and Dr. F. Sheikh. Evening visitation to take place, April 6th from 6-9 p.m. at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax (Pickering Village). Funeral Service in the Chapel to follow on Saturday, April 7, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow with a memorial stone to be placed in the family plot in Windsor, NS. Suddenly on April 1, 2001 in her 60th year. Dianne will be sadly missed by her husband William T. Neal and her daughters Shannon and her husband Bruce Locke, Janet and her husband Memphis Don, and Jo-Anne and her husband Tim Oke. Gramma will be lovingly remembered by Jenna, Kirstyn, MacKenzie, Mason, and Derrian. Dearly loved by her sister Carol and her husband Jim Catton and her parents Hilda and the late Charles (Ed) Cornish. Loved grandfather of Dustin, Cassandra, Makayla, Amanda and Ashleigh. Dear brother of Marie, Ralph, Patricia and Murray.
