Aged 79 years. Died at home with her family about her on Wednesday, July 18th, 2001. A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, served a mission after retirement in South Carolina where the younger missionaries knew her as “Sister Cool". June had a unique outlook on life and was always active and enthusiastic. She is survived by her daughter Wendy, sister Doris, grandchildren: Ronald, Danielle and Talli, great grandchildren: Charles, Ashley, Camden, Cember and Brandon J. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Jessica; extended family includes her many friends in the church. There will be a memorial service at Oshawa ward, Rossland at Thornton, Saturday, July 28th at 10 a.m. She will be laid to rest at the family plot in Hamilton cemetery.
