At Lakeridge Health Centre, Oshawa on Sunday, August 26, 2001. Daughter of the late Marwood and Velma Parish. Dearly beloved sister of Maxine Augustine and her husband Gerald and her sister-in-law Carolyn Parish. Predeceased by her brother Carson Parish. Resting at the Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge, 23 Main Street South, on Tuesday, August 28, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, August 29, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Foster Memorial cemetery. If desired, donations to Ajax-Pickering Whitby Association for Community Living, AIax Pickering Health Centre or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated.

PEARSE, Robert Ian-
(1970-2001) Rob’s courageous spirit, sincere kindness and striking wit are tributes to his inner beauty. Dearly loved by his parents Eric and Judy O’Donnell and Bob Pearse, his brothers and sister Shannon, Ryan, Patrick and Evan, his extended family brad, Chrisine, Jennifer and Deborah Thatcher, his beloved dogs Bailey and Taylr and finally his soulmate Serena who continues to feel his ever present warmth and protection. We are so proud of you and will cherish the memories you have left with us. You can rest with peace and dignity now Bear. Visitation at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division St. N., Bowmanville 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Anglican Church, Bowmanville. After a lengthy illness at Lakeridge Health Corp., Oshawa, on Sunday, August 26, 2001. Loving husband of Sarah. Always remembered by his stepchildren and their spouses. Devoted Opa to Amber and Ashtyn Crabb, and Keenan and Hollis Hinchey. Special thanks to the angels of mercy - nurses and support staff on the 8thfloor, Cancer Unit and Palliative Care. Dear mother of Mrs. Hazel Griffin of Niagara Falls, predeceased by her daughter Mrs. Doreen Kelemen of Oshawa and her 3 infant sons. Dear mother in law of Louis Kelemen of Oshawa. Step mother of Mrs. Evelyn Thwaites of Oshawa. Dear sister of Mrs. Sally Thompson of Oshawa. Predeceased by her 3 sisters Annie, Hattie, Bessie and by her 5 brothers Rupert, Granville, Bertrum, Maynard and Gordon. Sister in law of Jean Nelson of Oshawa and Grace Doucette of Campbellton, New Brunswick. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Jim (Glenna) Griffin, Ken (Judy) Griffin, Bill Griffin, Cathy Kelemen, Linda (Doug) Creamer, Gary (Genny) Kele­men, Her step grandchildren, Derrick, Shelby, Jenelle, and Trevor Thwaites of Oshawa, her 11 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. Rested at the Armstong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Funeral Service was held in the Chapel on Wednesday August 29, 2001 at 2:30 p.m. Interment Thornton cemetery. Memorial dona­tions to the Hospital for Sick Children or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Visitation was held at the funeral home on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Dear grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 9. Mr. Lague rested at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby from 7 to 9pm Monday. Lovingly remembered by 25 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a son, Maurice C. Taillon. Coring grandfather of ‘Paul Wiebe, Margaret-Anne Demmer, Carol-Lynne Harrison, David, Jill and Steven Thiffault, Tommy and Robert Lixler, Michael, Carol and Christina Capp and Julianna Tomaselli. Dear sister of Carol Upstone, Brenda and her husband Michael Trapp, Donna Upstone, David and Carol Upstone, Robert Upstone, the late Raymond Upstone, and sister-in-law of Gord and his wife Shelley Walsh, and Kathy Walsh. Sandy will be fondly remembered by her many relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby from 12 to 1 p.m. Wednesday.
