Burleigh and dearly loved mother of Spencer and his wife Merna Edison. Predeceased by a daughter Diane Edison and a son Leroy Edison (Jan. 1997). Dear mother-in-law of Marie Edison of Keswick. Dear sister of Ken and his wife Frances Earnshaw of Aylmer and Ruth Fulton of St. Thomas. Sadly missed by 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. HILL - Barry D. (Santa) Hill. passed away with his family by his side on Monday, November 16, 1998. He was in his 61st year. Barry was an employee of the C.N.R. for 40 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Dorothy Hill. He will be sadly missed by his children and grandchildren, Ellen Mahlberg (Chuck Cummings) and son Shawn, of Monteith, Robert Hill (Cindy) and son Michael of Oshawa, Paula DiDomenico (Danny) and sons Brandyn and Cody of London, Debbie Craven (Dave) and children Heather and David of London, Diane Lang (Harold) and children Alison and Andrew of London. Loving brother of Tim Hill (Marilyn)of Woodstock, Darlene Wellinghoff (Wally) of Miami, Florida, David Hill of London. Brother-in-law of Doris Hill of Victoria, B.C. and Rosalie Branagh (Ted) of St. Thomas. Step-brother of Norm Hobbs (Virginia) of London and Marjorie Irwin (Chuck) of Calgary, Alberta. Predeceased by his parents Lilly and Paul Hill, his step-father Norm Hobbs and his brother Paul. He will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Barry was active for 25 years in hockey and fastball in London and surrounding areas, as well as being Santa Claus for the past 15 years. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the A.Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Funeral service will be conducted at All Saints Anglican Church, 249 Hamilton Road at Inkerman Street, London on Thursday, November 19th at 11:00 a.m. with the Venerable A.H. Skirving and Reverend Tim Hill officiating. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London.
