Former wife of the late Herbert Emerson Jamieson and dearly loved mother of Beverly Ann and her husband Jerry Speers of Sparta, Patricia Joan and her husband William Titchner of St. Thomas, Betty Lou McConkey of Woodstock and the late Gary Wayne Jamieson. Dear sister of Jean and her husband Tom Proctor, Betty and her husband John Crandall, Dorothy (Taylor) Hill, and Marg and her husband Jim Turner all of St. Thomas and the late Frederick Lloyd Simons. Sadly missed by a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Grandmother of Mrs. Maureen Ozar and her husband Robert of Lansing, Mich., Mrs. Anne Snel and her husband J.J. of Amsterdam, The Netherlands and Pat Simmons of Grand Ledge, Mich. Great grandmother of Rachel Ozar of Lansing, Mich. Sister of Mrs. Bridie Westerhout of St. Thomas and Mrs. Marjorie McLellan of Sarnia. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Simmons was predeceased by a son-in-law, Thomas Lanane, by a sister, Mrs. Lana Yeo and by three brothers, Thomas, James and William Roche. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Angels' Roman Catholic Church, St. Thomas on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment in Holy Angels' cemetery. STEVENSON - At his late residence on Wednesday, April 26, 2000. John Stevenson of London, Ontario, husband of the late Mrs. Harleene (Taylor) Stevenson (Sept. 8, 1997), inhis 86th year. Son of the late John and late Mary (Hunter) Stevenson. Father of the late Douglas David Stevenson (1942) and the late Richard Eden Stevenson (1944). At the request of Mr. Stevenson, there will be no funeral home visitation or funeral service. Following cremation, private interment in Christ (Anglican) Churchyard, Port Stanley.
