McKEE, Harry C. -
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Harry C. McKee, who died suddenly on Saturday, November 24, 2001 at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Lillian. Dear father of David and his wife Sandra and Don. Beloved grandpa of Sarah, Christina and Kaitlyn. Beloved brother of Audrey and Jim. In this time of sorrow we are thankful for the time we shared with him. Forever loved by family and friends. Private family service. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family would like to express their sincerest thanks to all the emergency response staff who responded to the call on the evening of November 24th. Their kindness and efforts were greatly appreciated.

HARRINGTON, Clara Kathleen -
At the Northumberland Health Care Centre on Friday November 23, 2001. Clara (nee Hawkes) in her 86th year, beloved wife of the late Myles Harrington and the late Arnold Harrington. Dear mother of Mildred Stone and her husband Carl of British Columbia, Ralph and his wife Margaret of Cobourg, Paul and his wife Rita of Oshawa, Gary and his wife Carol of New Brunswick and the late Earl. Dear sister of Mabel Hawkes, Doris Manuel and Viola Milton, all of New Brunswick, Lillian Rodgers and Lawrence Hawkes, both of British Columbia. Predeceased by her sisters Edna Milheron, Cora, Gertude and Alice Hawkes, and her brothers Roy and Cecil Hawkes. Lovingly remembered by her 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Rested at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Funeral Service was held in the Chapel on Tuesday November 27, 2001 at 1 p.m. Cremation Thornton Crematorium. Memorial donations to 100 Huntley Street or the Gideon Bibles would be greatly appreciated. Visitation was held on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday November 23, 2001. Valentina Herman, beloved wife of Eugene. Loving mother of Lucy Ireland& her husband Philip and Nina Brideau & her husband Ronald. Dear grandmother of Natalie Eugenia. Loving sister of Lucy Pyrcz & her husband Stephan and Victor Maligina & his wife Jean. Godmother to David and aunt to Leon and Andrew, all of Australia. Great aunt Lydia Desjaterik and lovingly remembered by her cousins Boris, Nellie, and Helen all of Hamilton. Resting at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Ukranian Orthodox Church on Monday November 26th at 9:30 am. Interment to follow at Thornton cemetery. Panachyda will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 7 pm. Memorial donations to LakeridgeHealth Cancer Care Centre would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Peacefully, at the Sunnycrest Nursing Home, Whitby, on Friday, November 23, 2001. Beloved wife of the late Leslie Lane. Loving mother of Linda Cockell, Patricia Lane, and Ken Lane. Dear grandmother of Don, Susan, Mark, Jill, and Linda, and great-grandmother of nine. Sister of John, Ada, and predeceased by Bill, Norm, and Shirley. PAPPIN, Brian Donald -
(30 year employee Scotia Bank). After a brief but courageous battle with cancer at Lakeridge Health - Oshawa on Friday, November 23rd, 2001 at the age of 58. Beloved husband of Alana (nee Lepine). Beloved father of Tricia, Shawn and his wife Jamie and Papa to Brooke. Sadly missed by his parents Donald and Doris Pappin of Pembroke and his sisters Bev and her husband Donnie of Pembroke and Joan and the late Morris of Ajax. Also fondly remembered by many other family members. ROBINSON, Ronald Steeves -
Aged 70 years, Bank of Nova Scotia, Retired. At Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Friday November 23rd, 2001. High school sweetheart & lifetime best friend of his wife Miriam. Cherished & much loved Dad of Marshall Robinson, Janice & her husband Bob Peters. Special "Pop" of Dorian Robinson. Survived by his brother Hubert & his wife Evelyn & by sisters Ruth Woronka & Anne Candy (John). Predeceased by sister Edris Bell. Loved & supported by his sister-in-law Joene & her husband Bob Moreau. Fondly remembered by brother-in-law Mac & his wife Angela Price. Oldest & best friend of Rowan & Stel Donnachie. Treasured Uncle of many nieces & nephews. The sparkle in his eye & his wonderful sense of humour will be missed by his family & friends. Ron was grateful for one more summer of golf & will be missed on thetee at courses in Panama City Beach, Ottawa & Port Hope/Wilmot Creek. Visitation will be held at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville 2-4 & 7-9 pm Monday. Funeral Service in our Chapel 11am Tuesday. Cremation. Donations may be made to the Cancer Society in Ron's memory.

STANLEY, Gladys R.N. (nee Demoulin) -
passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, November 23, 2001. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Willard Hodgins (Bill) Stanley. Mother of Joan Stanley Baines and her husband Christopher. Loving grandmother of Jessie-Ann and Elizabeth Baines. Godmother to Carolyn (Johnson) Crowson. Born in Lancaster, Ontario on November 30, 1911, attended Williamstown High School. After graduating from Hamilton General Hospital in 1933, she married Bill Stanley and they moved to Oshawa in 1937. Gladys was actively involved with St. George's Anglican Church, Oshawa Hospital Auxiliary, and Robert McLaughlin Art Gallery. She loved many activities including skating, skiing, curling and painting. Gladie will be fondly remembered by her lifelong close friend Dr. Ted Johnson and his family. Many thanks to Dr. Roy Rowsell and the staffs of Cedarcroft Retirement Home and Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King St. E., Oshawa with funeral service at St. George's Anglican Church (corner of Centre St. S. and Bagot St. Oshawa) on Monday, November 26th, at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations to St. George's Anglican Church Living and Sacred Stone Campaign (Building) or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. Wonderful grandfather of Joshua and Hershey. Sadly missed brother of Margaret Wilbur and her husband Harold, Allan and his wife Darlene, and Brian and his wife Ruth. Predeceased by his sister Ruth Todgham. Dear son of the late Roy and Beatrice Todgham. Dear son of Bernie and Helen Perrin of Ajax and loving grandson of Helen Fallaize of Ajax. Dear son-in-law of Larry Cordes of Bowmanville. Loving brother of Judy Perrin (Chris) of Ajax, John and his wife Shona Perrin of Caesarea and Catherine Perrin (Nick) of Toronto, and brother-in-law of Evelyn and her husband Don Wiggins of Blackstock and Darin and his wife Alice Cordes of Orono. Jim will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
