Loving husband of Ruth (Mollon) of Wilmot Creek, Newcastle. Dear father of Melba and her fiancé Murray of Bowmanville, and Clare-Marie and her fiancé Stevan of Etobicoke. Loving Papa of Alex and Kyle. Beloved son of the late Alfred and Rose Aimee Muise. Brother of Elien of Hubbard’s Point, N.S., Charlie of Tusket, N.S., Florence of Liverpool, N.S., Janette of Tusket, N.S., Emma of Hubbard’s Point, N.S., and the late Clifford, Julien, Toussain and Stephen. Brother-in-law of Frank and May Mollon of Orono, and Melba and her late husband Bill Halfpenny of Burlington. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Peacefully at her home in Oshawa, after a lengthy illness, Bonnie Tucker, in her 59th year. Bonnie was born in Huntsville, Ontario, January 22, 1944. The youngest daughter of Joseph and Mona (O’Connor) White. She made her home in Huntsville before moving to Oshawa in 1991. She was married on September 7, 1963, to James Tucker and had two daughters. Bonnie made her career in retail, but was foremost, a devoted mother and grandmother. She is greatly loved and missed by daughters Lindy Tucker (Oshawa) and Lisa Farnsworth (Burks Falls), grandchildren Joseph, Desiree, Willow and Destiny Tucker and Laura Farnsworth. Also her brother, Ross (Betty) White and sister, Bertha (Bill) Malloy and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Fernhill/Nipigon Clubhouse, 144 Fernhill Boulevard, Oshawa, on Tuesday March 5, 2002, at 4 P.M. Donations may be made in Bonnie’s memory to the Bloorview MacMillan Children’s Center.

Peacefully in her 90th year in Port Perry, Ontario. She is fondly remembered by her family and many friends and leaves behind her sons Peter Sladen (Nancy) and Rick Sheffer (Fran), seven grandchildren and step-grandchildren (Megan, Stephen, Ashley, Cavan and Brienne, Alexandra, and Chris). Her love of "the ridiculous", readiness with a new joke or story and love of life is a gift to us all. In place of a formal memorial service there will be an informal gathering to celebrate her life at the home of Peter and Nancy Sladen in Uxbridge, Ontario on June 8 at 2PM. Dedicated & loving husband for 55 yrs. of the late Catherine, (deceased 1995); proud father of Terry (deceased 1986) and wife Sharon (deceased 1985); Frances & Arthur Westgarth, Bowmanville; Sinclair 'Bud' & his wife Jane, Paris, ON; Patrick and his wife Nadia, Brantford; brother of Jack (Ruth), Belwood. Brother-in-law of Lois Ness & Gladys Coleman, Orillia. Jim's keen interest & love for airplanes began at an early age, resulting in a vast knowledge & an ability to fix anything that flew, & earned him high respect in the field of general aviation. As an aircraft engineer he worked proudly alongside his sons at their company, Brant Aero, Brantford, until a debilitating stroke in 1997. Jim was a caring gentleman who was happiest when his family was around him; he was a Christian who like to help people & know that his help made a difference. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Blaine (Patty), Cathy (Ross), Todd, Chris (Michelle), Will (Pauline), Inger (Kent), Chris Harper, Cathy (Greg), Carin (Jan), Roberta (Doug), Jennifer, Jamie (deceased 1982), Kevin and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
