MUCHE, Herbie -
(Retired Bar Steward at the Royal Hotel, Whitby; the Whitby Hotel and Oshawa Golf Club). Suddenly after a brief illness with his family by his side at Oshawa General Hospital on Friday, April 19th, 2002 at the age of 65. Survived by his wife Diane and their dog Thunder. Sadly missed by his Godson Philip, his sister Becky and their parents Joann and Stephen. Lovingly remembered by his niece Alana-Lee and sisters-in-law June and Rose. Herbie will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends in both Canada and Germany. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to Fran and the rest of the staff of the Oshawa C.C.U. for all of their care and compassion. Friends will be received at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE “Thornton Chapel", 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Monday, April 22nd from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, April 23rd at 1:00 P.M. Interment at MOUNT LAWN cemetery. Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetic Association would be appreciated.

PATERSON, Doris Emily -
Suddenly at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on Friday April 19, 2002 in her 78th year. Doris, beloved wife of Alexander Paterson. Loved mother of David Paterson and his wife Suzanne, and Sandra and her husband Mark Giordano. Dear sister of Albert, Gladys and Irene. Doris is predeceased by her parents Wm. Percival and Ruth Sims, and brothers Gilbert, Phil, and Frank, and sister Ruth. Doris will be missed by many nieces and nephews. A complete funeral service will be held in the chapel of The Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, on Tuesday April 23rd at 1pm. isitation from 12 noon until service time. Cremation. Memorial Donations to the Charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.

STEVENS, Terry (Flora) (nee Cliche) -
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Whitby on April 19, 2002 in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Joseph Chatfield Stevens. Dear mother of Robert Stevens and his wife Sandra of Michigan. Proud Grandmother of Tia and Brandon Stevens. Sadly missed by Dennis and Penny Stevens, and Ron Ranger. Survived by sisters, Clem Rivard of Peterborough, Margaret Horne of North Bay, and brothers Joseph Stevens of Pembroke, and Peter Stevens of Manitoba. Predeceased by sister Ellen Chartrand, and brothers Larry, Gordon, and Leo. Lovingly remembered by other family members and friends. Mrs. Stevens rested at the W. C. Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas St. E., Whitby on Monday April 22, 2002. Mass of the Christian burial was held at St. John the Evangelist Church on Tuesday April 23. Interment followed at St. John the Evangelist cemetery , Whitby. If desired, donations in Mrs. Steven's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Peacefully, on Friday, April 19, 2002, at the Community Nursing Home, Port Perry. Beloved husband of the late Helen Chester. Devoted and cherished father of Norman and his late wife Betty, Willa and her husband Ron Dick, June and her husband Seymour Sanel. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren, Michael, Cindy, Karen, Lynn, Lorraine, Donna, Betty Ann, Gordon, and Robert. Great pops to Andrew, Jonathan, Katherine, Jeffrey, Casey, Lauren, Danny, Maggie, Brent, Cameron, Jennifer, Kristen, Mathew, Brian and Heather. Predeceased by his brother Lloyd of Oshawa. Martin Kirkland (Carol) of Stouffville, Kathleen Kirkland of Oakbank, Man. Joseph Kirkland (Linda) of Whitby, Bernadette Klowak (David) of Winnipeg. Dear Pop to 32 grandchildren and great Pop to 10. Special foster Pop to 5. Dear brother of Harry Kirkland (Grace), Southport, England, predeceased by brother William Kirkland (wife Winnie) and sister Molly Ponting (husband Arthur), Liverpool, England. Dear brother-in-law of Alma Summers, Magull, England. Special thanks to the 3rd floor nurses for their wonderful, caring support and to his good friend, Kosta Skanderis. WENSINK, William Evert -
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Thursday April 18th, 2002 in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Gail Wensink. Much loved "Dad" ofJohn, Bill, Albert, Sharon, Allen, and Diane. Survived by his step-children Angela, Timothy and Brian. "Opa" will be sadly missed by his 14 grandchildren as well as by many family and friends. A Memorial Service to honour his life will take place at St. Paul's United Church 11 a.m. Monday. Donations may be made to Community Care or to The Liver Foundation. CHIODI, Pasqua (Boiano) -
It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden death of Pasqua Chiodi (Boiano). Pasqua passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on Wednesday, April 17th, 2002, in her 49th year. By her side was her loving husband Andrea of 29 years and her children, John (girlfriend Victoria), Marisa (boyfriend Chris) and Tony (girlfriend Melissa). Pasqua is survived by her father Pasquale Boiano and her sister Maria Boiano. She was also predeceased by her mother Maddalena Chiodi in Boiano. Pasqua will be greatly missed by all family and friends. The family of the deceased would like to express their many thanks for the overwhelming love and support shown by everyone during this difficult time. Loving and devoted husband of Irene (nee DeLong) for 61 years. Loving and dear father of Beverley Heard and Valerie Shea (nee Heard). Fondly remembered by grandchildren Adam Shea, Jamie Shea and the late Krista Shea and great-grandchild Bradley Snow. Brother of John and his wife Eunice Heard, Donald and his wife Vivian Heard, all of Bowmanville, Robert and his wife Joyce Heard of Oshawa and the late Margaret and Robert Germond. Sadly missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Sister of Jack, Jimmy, Joan, and the late George, Hazel, Velma and Nora. Survived by brothers Bill and his wife Judy of Port Hope, Robert and his wife Muriel of Oshawa, Edward and his wife Isobel of Pictou, Nova Scotia, George and his wife Terry of Calgary, Alberta, Harold of Oshawa; sister Gloria of Whitby; and predeceased by sister Marie Fitzpatrick. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Charles' life will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax.
