With sadness, the family of Vera MacPhail announce her passing. She died peacefully at Versa Care Centre in Uxbridge on Thursday, May 23rd, 2002, two weeks after her 93rd birthday. She was predeceased by her husband Donald and her daughter Ruth. She was the beloved mother of Donna Knox, Murray (Stephanie) and Douglas (Evelyn). Sadly missed by eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Vera will be missed by her many friends from the I.O.D.E., of which she was a member for over fifty years. She was also a willing worker for the Ladies Association of the Presbyterian Church. She loved to sing and play cards.
